摘 要:《初中英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)說(shuō)明》提出閱讀的要求是能根據(jù)上下文和構(gòu)詞法推斷,理解生詞的含義;能理解段落中各句子之間的邏輯關(guān)系;能找出文章中的主題,理解故事中的情節(jié),預(yù)測(cè)故事情節(jié)的發(fā)展和可能的結(jié)局。本文筆者就江蘇省牛津英語(yǔ)8A unit6 Reading 《Birds in Zhalong》課堂教學(xué)實(shí)錄及校內(nèi)外“同課異構(gòu)”的教學(xué)思考進(jìn)行仔細(xì)整理,與大家共同探討。

教學(xué)實(shí)錄
Step1 Free talk
用多媒體展示一些“鳥”的圖片,運(yùn)用Free talk形式讓學(xué)生說(shuō)出鳥的名稱以及鳥的不同部位。
T: Which bird do you like best?
S: I like --- best.
T: Why?
S: Because ---
T: Great! It’s right. Can you describe it?
S: No problem. It is ---
T: That’s right.
接著用同樣的方法展示麻雀、天鵝、鷹的圖片,最后展示鶴的圖片。這一環(huán)節(jié),皆在復(fù)習(xí)所學(xué)的內(nèi)容以及訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,為接下來(lái)的Reading 教學(xué)做鋪墊。
Step2 Presentation(展示中國(guó)地圖,用圓圈標(biāo)出黑龍江所處的位置)
T:Where is Zhalong Nature Reserve?
S:? It’s in Heilongjing Province.
T:? Zhalong is a special place---
目的是幫助學(xué)生對(duì)Zhalong自然保護(hù)區(qū)有一個(gè)初步的了解。
Step3 Fast reading
1.To find the answers to the following questions:
(1) Why is Zhalong a special place?
(2) What animals live in the special place? Why?
2.Guess the meanings of some new words.
主要是讓學(xué)生養(yǎng)成快速閱讀的習(xí)慣,能抓住文章的基本意思,同時(shí)在閱讀中理解生詞,這對(duì)詞匯的學(xué)習(xí)也是特別有幫助的。
Step4 Further reading
T: Read the text again and tell the following sentences“True”or“False”.
(1) Zhalong is an important wetland nature in the world. ____
(2) Birds can find food and cover in Zhalong. ____
這個(gè)步驟的設(shè)計(jì)旨在讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步熟悉課文,同時(shí)要求他們讀的更細(xì)致,能抓住比較詳細(xì)的信息辨別對(duì)錯(cuò)。
Step5 Detail reading
T: Read the text for the third time and fill in the blanks according to the text.
We are______cranes. We like living in_______.We live in Zhalong_________.? Zhalong _____us enough food and ______. Every year many _____come to see us. But some people want to change our home to make more _____ for _____ and _____. This means there will be _____ and ______ space for wildlife and the number of us is getting ______and______, We are _____birds. But many people don’t understand the importance of protecting us. What shall we do? Please help us!
這一輪的閱讀要求學(xué)生要細(xì)讀課文,抓住更加詳細(xì)的信息,并能回答更細(xì)致的問題。
Step6 Try to answer to give as much information of each part as possible.
T: Listen to the tape and read the text for the fourth time, then get the students to complete the following table
這一環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)一步讓學(xué)生加深了對(duì)課文的理解,同時(shí)也鍛煉了學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力和膽量。
Step7 Discussion(展示鹽城自然保護(hù)區(qū)的畫面)
T:This is Yancheng Nature Reserve, it is a very beautiful reserve, many cranes are living there. As a Grade 8 student, what should you do and what shouldn’t you do in the reserve?
S1: We should walk slowly.
S2: We should walk quietly.
S3: We speak in a low voice.
……
這一環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì),旨在進(jìn)一步訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,更讓他們意識(shí)到保護(hù)鳥類的重要性,這也正是本單元的宗旨所在。
教學(xué)思考
上述實(shí)錄課就是以競(jìng)賽的形式貫穿始終,把繁瑣的、枯燥的閱讀課教學(xué)變得生動(dòng)起來(lái),增強(qiáng)了學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作意識(shí)和集體榮譽(yù)感,讓學(xué)生們?cè)诰o張而又愉快的氛圍中度過了45分鐘,也使學(xué)生的閱讀能力在潛移默化中得到了提高。
“問渠那得清如許,為有源頭活水來(lái)”。在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)過程中,閱讀課是學(xué)生理解和吸收語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的重要手段,能給學(xué)生提供更豐富的教育教學(xué)資源,有助于學(xué)生開闊視野、豐富語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、擴(kuò)大詞匯量和了解英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的社會(huì)信息及文化底蘊(yùn)等。
