在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我們通常會(huì)創(chuàng)設(shè)相關(guān)情境來(lái)展開(kāi)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)活動(dòng)。不同的教學(xué)活動(dòng)各環(huán)節(jié)之間我們通常又會(huì)用一定的過(guò)渡語(yǔ)來(lái)銜接,合理巧妙地過(guò)渡語(yǔ)言,能有效延伸教學(xué)情境,提示和引導(dǎo)學(xué)生順利地轉(zhuǎn)入下一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的學(xué)習(xí),如穿針引線,把一節(jié)課的諸多環(huán)節(jié)銜接成一個(gè)連貫緊湊、渾然天成的有機(jī)整體,提升學(xué)生思維水平,提高課堂教學(xué)效果。下面以修訂版PEP五(上)Unit 4 What can you do?Read and write一課為例,闡述如何巧用過(guò)渡語(yǔ),優(yōu)化英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)篇教學(xué)。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Hello,children.I’m your new English teacher.This ismyEnglish name,can you read?課件呈現(xiàn):You’re so clever.I’m Candice,I’m friendly.I want to make friends with you.Look!This is my email,I write it on the red heart card(.展示卡片說(shuō)明本節(jié)課的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)機(jī)制)If you did a good job,you can get it,then we can be friends.
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Can you remember the phrases we learn in this unit? First,let’s play a game:sharp eyes.Look at the screen,see the phrasesasquickly as youcan.屏幕最后定格在“Listen, I can sing English songs”上,教師隨機(jī)唱了一段學(xué)生喜聞樂(lè)見(jiàn)的“Do Re Mi”。
T:Whatcan you do?
S1:I can dance.
T:Can you dance for us?
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Now,children,it’s your turn. Ask and answer like this.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:Pre-reading環(huán)節(jié),熱身活動(dòng),通常也是復(fù)習(xí)活動(dòng),是一堂課的開(kāi)始,它的有效程度直接決定了這節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)效果。教師通過(guò)Greeting,Sharp eyes和Free talk三個(gè)活動(dòng)充分激活舊知,并用精心設(shè)計(jì)的過(guò)渡語(yǔ)引起學(xué)生的注意,讓學(xué)生迅速進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的狀態(tài),為接下來(lái)的學(xué)習(xí)做好鋪墊。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Children,you can do somanythings.Can you read this word(教師展示詞卡,an email)? Look,here is an email from Robin.What’sthisemail about?(學(xué)生猜)Now,let’s read the passage quickly and choose the right answer.
過(guò)渡語(yǔ): Robin wants a friend.If you want to make friendswith Robin,you should know more about him,yes?So,what can Robin do?Read and tick or cross now.
過(guò)渡語(yǔ): Now,we know Robin can do many things.Do you wanttoknow moreinformationsaboutRobin.Read for the third time and find the difficuties.
While-reading環(huán)節(jié)主要使用順流式過(guò)渡語(yǔ)。Skip reading,Detailed reading,Deep reading三個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)運(yùn)用了非常巧妙的過(guò)渡語(yǔ)來(lái)銜接,這一系列的過(guò)渡語(yǔ)彌補(bǔ)了從一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)到另一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié),跳躍性過(guò)渡的缺陷,使學(xué)生在不斷的探究中不知不覺(jué)地進(jìn)入了新的情境,實(shí)現(xiàn)了課堂教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)轉(zhuǎn)換的天衣無(wú)縫。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):After reading,we know more informations about Robin. Now let’s listen to Robin’s voice.承接上文,以聽(tīng)Robin的聲音為由,自然過(guò)渡到聽(tīng)音模仿環(huán)節(jié)。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Wow,there are so many Robots in our classroom.I like your voice very much.Robots,can you introduce yourself?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用板書(shū)復(fù)述文本:I’m...I can...I can’t... 由聽(tīng)錄音跟讀順延到Retell the passage。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Robin can do many things. Do you want to be Robin’s friends. Now, write some sentences to introduce yourself. Who wants to be Robin’s friends?(一名學(xué)生展示)I think maybe Robin wants to make friends with you.
過(guò)渡語(yǔ):Listen!Robin is talking.播放聲音文件:Wow,you’re helpful.I want to make friends with you.Now,let’s enjoy a story together.由Robin對(duì)學(xué)生自我介紹的反饋直接過(guò)渡到Story time的學(xué)習(xí),自然、流暢,水到渠成。
板塊的過(guò)渡往往會(huì)給一部分學(xué)生帶來(lái)一種壓迫感,他們會(huì)覺(jué)得這是教師的任務(wù)而不得不去做。Post-reading環(huán)節(jié),隨著學(xué)生的心愿,通過(guò)巧妙過(guò)渡,讓學(xué)生從語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的操練階段自然過(guò)渡到初步運(yùn)用階段,引領(lǐng)他們?cè)趧?chuàng)造中嘗試著運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言。
過(guò)渡語(yǔ)是小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)活動(dòng)各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的紐帶,也是各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的潤(rùn)滑劑,是完整課堂結(jié)構(gòu)中不可或缺的組成部分。因?yàn)橛辛诉^(guò)渡語(yǔ)的起承轉(zhuǎn)合,才有了靈動(dòng)升級(jí)的課堂。教師有效地使用過(guò)渡語(yǔ),可以為學(xué)生的課堂學(xué)習(xí)牽線搭橋,使他們?cè)诮處煹闹敢聦W(xué)得明白輕松,學(xué)有所成,提高英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)的有效性。僅以此課例拋磚引玉,希望看到各位同仁更多更好的做法。
