An Interesting Story About a King

There was once a King who loved his wife very much. When he discovered that she was wicked,he killed her. “All women are wicked. ” he said: “I shall punish them. ”

He took a new wife each day. After one days marriage, he cut off her head and married again. This went on for some time. All the people in the country were very unhappy.

Now the King had a Chief Minister who had two beautiful daughters. The elder of the two decided that she would try to cure the King of his madness. She went to her father and said, “Father, I want to marry the King. Please go and tell him.”

The king was delighted when the Chief Minister told him. The marriage took place at once. After the wedding, the new Queen said, “If I am going to die tomorrow, please let me have my sister with me for a short time.”

The King agreed and the sister came. The Queen had told her sister about the plan and she knew what to do. She waited for night-time. Then she said, “The King cannot sleep. Why dont you tell us one of your stories?”

The Queen said, “No, the King may not want to listen.” But the King said, “Yes, tell us a story.”

So the Queen began, but when she reached the most exciting part she stopped. “Go on. ” Said the King. “It is time to stop now. ” said the Queen. “What it a pity! The next part of the story is even more exciting. ”The King thought, “there is no need to kill her tomorrow. I will wait until the day after. The I can hear the end of the story.”

But the second night, the Queen finished the story and began another and again she stopped at a very exciting place. Again her life was saved. On the third night, the same thing hing happeded. This went on night after night until they had been married a whole year. Then a beautiful son was born to the King. The King now loved his wife and under-stood that there are good and bad women just as there are good and bad men. He was ashamed at his actions. He killed no more women and he and his wife lived peacefully together.

現(xiàn)在國王有一名首相,他有兩位漂亮的女兒。年長一點的決定嘗試治愈這位國王的瘋狂。她到父親跟前說,“爸,我愿意嫁給國王,請去和他講吧?！?/p>

首相把這件事告訴了國王,他開心極了,婚禮馬上就舉行了。儀式過后,新皇后說,“如果我明天去死,請允許我的妹妹和我呆一小會?！?/p>

國王答應(yīng)了她的請求,小女兒入宮了?；屎笤缫寻延媱澑嬖V了她的妹妹,而且她也知道怎么做。她等到夜晚來臨之后,說:“國王不能入睡,為什么你不給我們講講你的一個故事呢?”

皇后說,“不,可能國王不愿聽?！笨墒菄跽f,“是的,給我們講個故事吧。”

于是,皇后開始講故事,但是當(dāng)她說到最激動人心的部分時停住了。“現(xiàn)在是停止的時刻了?！被屎笳f。“多么遺憾!故事的下一部分更加精彩?！?國王想了想,“明天不用殺她了,我能等到后天,然后我就能聽到故事的結(jié)尾?！?/p>

但是第二天晚上,皇后講完了前一個故事,又開始了新故事。然后又停在了精彩部分。這一次,她又活了下來。第三天晚上,同樣的事又發(fā)生了。這樣夜夜如此,直到他們成婚一年。皇后生下了一名男嬰,現(xiàn)在國王愛上了皇后并且明白了這樣一個事實,女人有好有壞就和好男人和壞男人的區(qū)別一樣。他為自己的行為感到慚愧。再也沒有處決一位女性,而且和妻子平和幸福地生活了下去。
