一、教材分析
本課所選內(nèi)容是高等教育出版社中等職業(yè)教育課程改革國(guó)家規(guī)劃新教材《英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)模塊》 第2版第2冊(cè)《Its time to change.》(Reading)。本課話(huà)題有關(guān)健康生活,是學(xué)生比較感興趣的內(nèi)容。通過(guò)本課教學(xué),能增強(qiáng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生健康的生活方式。
二、學(xué)情分析
本課教學(xué)對(duì)象是中職學(xué)生,學(xué)生英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)相對(duì)薄弱。因此,在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,要注重學(xué)習(xí)策略的指導(dǎo);在教學(xué)內(nèi)容的設(shè)置上先易后難,營(yíng)造輕松的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,注重激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng),幫助學(xué)生樹(shù)立英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)自信心。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.知識(shí)目標(biāo):學(xué)生能掌握和運(yùn)用表達(dá)健身、健康生活習(xí)慣的詞匯和短語(yǔ),如:slim、skip、stay up、put on weight、get rid of等; 學(xué)生能根據(jù)課文,了解健身俱樂(lè)部會(huì)員表格填寫(xiě)的基本格式。
2.能力目標(biāo):提高閱讀能力和查找整理相關(guān)信息的能力;學(xué)生能簡(jiǎn)單描述有關(guān)健身、健康生活習(xí)慣的情況。
3.情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生健康的生活習(xí)慣;培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極參加體育鍛煉的好習(xí)慣。

任務(wù)教學(xué)法、小組合作探究法、合作學(xué)習(xí)。
五、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)與難點(diǎn)
1.重點(diǎn):學(xué)會(huì)使用slim 等詞匯和短語(yǔ);理解Sara和Allen的健康故事。
2.難點(diǎn):通過(guò)閱讀培養(yǎng)學(xué)生整合信息的能力;把本課所掌握知識(shí)點(diǎn)運(yùn)用到實(shí)際中去。

Step1 warming-up
1. Lets enjoy a short movie.
2. What do you think about the short movie?Why are they taking exercise?(Keep healthy?。〥o you want to keep healthy ?(Healthy) So,today we will learn Reading of Unit 5.(板書(shū):Reading Health stories)
Step2 Pre - reading 1. Think about that what the stories will talk about?
2. Look at the two pictures.Who are they?Well read their Health Stories.
Learn words and paragraphs.
Step 3 While-reading
1.Fast-reading True or false. Sara is a doctor.( )
Sara wants to look slim.( )
Sara often skips supper .( )
Sara wants to put on weight. ( )
The coach advises Allen to get rid of his bad habits.( )
2. Scanning Questions:How many paragraphs in the text? Whats the main idea of each paragraph? Whose healthy story is it talking about?
3. Skimming (Match the main idea and each paragraph.)
