一、教師質(zhì)疑
教學(xué)“Project English”九年級(jí)上冊(cè)Unit 1 Topic 2 la Read and Understand時(shí),我設(shè)計(jì)了下面一組問(wèn)題。
T: What was the worlds population in 2005?
Ss: It was about 6.5 billion.
T: Whats the population of China now?
S1: Its about 1.3 billion.
T:What problems do you think Chinas large population has caused?
S2:There is less living space for each family. And its difficult for lots of people to find jobs. We are short of energy and water. Most cities are more crowded than before, and the traffic is much heavier.
T:What has the government done to control the population?
S3:The government has carried out the one-child policy. And it has worked well.
T:Are you the only one child in your family?
S4:Yes, I am.
二、教師與學(xué)生互相質(zhì)疑
教學(xué)直接引語(yǔ)與間接引語(yǔ)時(shí),我向?qū)W生質(zhì)疑:句子“The teacher told us that the sports meeting would be put off.”中,賓語(yǔ)從句的時(shí)態(tài)為什么用過(guò)去將來(lái)時(shí)?學(xué)生回答:如果主句是一般過(guò)去時(shí),賓語(yǔ)從句部分需用過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)。緊接著我拋出句子:The teacher told us the earth moves around the sun.這時(shí),學(xué)生質(zhì)疑:賓語(yǔ)從句部分為何不用過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài),而是用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)?我解釋:當(dāng)轉(zhuǎn)述客觀真理或是引述的狀態(tài)和情況到現(xiàn)在仍然是事實(shí)時(shí),經(jīng)常用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)。我又問(wèn):還能舉出例句嗎?有學(xué)生說(shuō):She said that light travels much faster than sound.
三、學(xué)生之間互相質(zhì)疑
教學(xué)定語(yǔ)從句時(shí),我讓學(xué)生小組合作,討論下面句子空格處應(yīng)填入什么關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞。
1. I work for a company
sells cars.
2. Many people love the man
songs have great lyrics.
3. There is somebody wants to see you.
4. This is the place he would like to visit.
5. This is the place Deng Xiaoping once lived.
6. Ive never heard of the persons and things you talked about just now.
7. Everything happened at that moment seemed unreal.
8. He is the very man can help you.
通過(guò)巡查,我發(fā)現(xiàn)了學(xué)生的質(zhì)疑之處,并幫助他們達(dá)成共識(shí):“This is the place which/ that he would like to visit.”引導(dǎo)詞which或that在從句中作賓語(yǔ),而where不能作賓語(yǔ)?!癟his is the place where Deng Xiaoping once lived.”where在從句中作地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)?!癏e is the very man that can help you.”引導(dǎo)詞用that,不能用who,因?yàn)楫?dāng)形容詞前有the only,the very,the last等詞修飾時(shí),引導(dǎo)詞只能用that.
四、學(xué)生自我質(zhì)疑
例如,預(yù)習(xí)“Project English”九年級(jí)Unit 1 Topic 3 Section B時(shí),通過(guò)自學(xué),學(xué)生可以發(fā)現(xiàn)新的知識(shí)點(diǎn)。其中難點(diǎn)集中在:decide on sth.與decide to do sth.有什么區(qū)別?so...that... 與...so that...有什么區(qū)別?短暫性動(dòng)詞需要與since, for表示一段時(shí)間的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)連用時(shí),要如何轉(zhuǎn)化?帶著這些疑問(wèn),學(xué)生獨(dú)立思考,通過(guò)與已學(xué)的知識(shí)做比較或者查閱有關(guān)參考書(shū),盡力解決疑難。這樣一來(lái),既能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題的能力,又能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生解決問(wèn)題的能力,在學(xué)習(xí)中就能切中要害,提高效果。
