一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

（一）語言知識(shí)目標(biāo)

1.能掌握下列詞匯：when， January， February， March， April， May， June， July， August， September， October， November， December

2.能掌握以下句型：

（1）—When is your birthday？ —My birthday is on October 2nd.

（2）—When is Alice's birthday？ —It's in September.

（3）—How old are you？ —I'm thirteen.

（4）—Happy birthday！ —Thank you！

3.能夠掌握日期的詢問與表達(dá)方式;

4.能通過談?wù)撟约骸⑼瑢W(xué)以及父母家人的生日，理解生日更多的含義。

（二）情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo)

該部分的學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容貼近學(xué)生的生活，談?wù)摰脑掝}是生日。通過互相詢問生日的日期，可以增進(jìn)同學(xué)之間的了解和友情并學(xué)會(huì)在英語交流中注意他人的情感。

三、教學(xué)過程

（一）Warming-up and revision

1.Greet the Ss as usual. Check the homework.

2.Review the numbers 0 ～ 31 in English.

（二）Presentation

（Sing the song "Happy birthday to you！".）

1.T： When is my birthday？ My birthday is on May 2nd. When is your birthday？ This class， we'll learn how to express dates.

（Show the pictures of the twelve months on the screen， or show a big calendar to the Ss. Learn the names of the twelve months： January， February， March， April， May， June， July， August， September， October， November， December ）

2.Work on 1a. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and repeat the new words. Ss read the new words and try to remember them.

（采用方法：教師先領(lǐng)讀，然后男生讀，女生讀，鏈?zhǔn)阶x，給出漢語說英語，給出英語說漢語，最后跟讀正音。緊湊的教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)使學(xué)生能夠全身心的投入學(xué)習(xí)中。）

3.T： My birthday is in May. It's on May 2nd.? When we talk about months， we use "in"; When we talk about dates， we use "on".

4.Ss read and try to remember the phrases.
