Another major difference between middle school and high school is that high school is when students begin to think seriously about their futures in general and college in particular. In order to getinto college， high school presents an increase in the amount of work a student has to complete， both in class and as homework.? High school students often complain about the heaviness of their workload; however， it's important to get used to this， as it's a good way to prepare for the college.
