可口可樂與百事可樂之爭(zhēng)已有百年，雖然可口可樂創(chuàng)立時(shí)間更早，但現(xiàn)在百事可樂公司已超過可口可樂公司，成為世界上經(jīng)營利潤最高的飲料公司，而帶領(lǐng)百事走向巔峰的正是百事集團(tuán)前任CEO盧英德位來自印度的女企業(yè)家。

Unlike the Indian women in the film， Indra K. Nooyi has been very lucky since childhood. She came from a Brahman family in India.As a member of the highest 2）caste in India， she received a good family education since childhood.

As a student， she graduated from Madras Christian University in India at the age of 18. Later， she entered Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and 3）obtained an MBA in financial marketing. At that time， it was one of the onlytwo universities in India that could offer MBA education.

In 1978， she made one of the most important decisions in her life， that is， to go to the United States， to the other side of the ocean to find her “American Dream”. 在印度電影里，女性的地位都比較低。作為男性的附屬品，女人想出人頭地，要經(jīng)歷重重困難，要同命運(yùn)抗?fàn)幉趴赡塬@得成功。不同于電影中的印度女性，盧英德從孩童時(shí)期就很幸運(yùn)。她出身于印度婆羅門家庭，作為印度最高級(jí)種姓成員，她從小就受到了良好的家庭教育。

她18歲就從印度馬德拉斯教會(huì)大學(xué)畢業(yè)了，之后又進(jìn)入了科爾加塔印度管理學(xué)院，并獲得了金融營銷的MBA學(xué)位。當(dāng)時(shí)，該學(xué)院是印度僅有的能提供MBA教育的兩所大學(xué)之一。

打個(gè)比方，在一場(chǎng)會(huì)議上，來自一位女性的建議，通常會(huì)被質(zhì)疑好多次，你必須做好充分的準(zhǔn)備，并且具備優(yōu)秀的辯論口才，你的建議才有可能會(huì)被采納。但同樣的問題，如果是一名男性提出，就會(huì)容易很多。

很多女性很難在自己的職業(yè)生涯中獲得重大突破，因此誕生了著名的“玻璃天花板”理論：由于性別或者種族的差異，一些有才能的人卻只能長期從事低層的或者輔助型的工作，很難進(jìn)入核心的決策層，就像隔著天花板可望而不可即。

針對(duì)這種理論，盧英德卻這樣回應(yīng)：作為一個(gè)女人，一個(gè)出生于美國以外的人，你必須比其他任何人都聰明。我確信有“玻璃天花板”的存在，但是它既透明又易碎，所以可以勇敢地打破。
