教學內(nèi)容為譯林出版社《牛津初中英語》7A Unit7 Shopping Reading I.
二、教材簡解
本單元是7A教材第二個模塊Colourful life的第三個話題“購物”。本單元重點介紹了購物的實用功能,并描述了與購物相關的不同場景。在Reading部分,通過創(chuàng)設買圣誕禮物這個情境,導入話題項目表中“節(jié)假日活動”和“購物”這兩個話題。單元話題的情境中,Amy與營業(yè)員之間交流時所使用的語言,可以清晰呈現(xiàn)“請求與提供幫助、購物、建議、接受與拒絕”這一“社會交往”的功能意念項目。而Thats not cheap. I want the new cards. These clips are beautiful,and they match……可以使學生學會“意愿與打算、判斷與評價”這一功能意念項目。學生通過學習和運用這些語言,能夠在真實情境中完成“社會交往”和表達“態(tài)度”這兩方面的交際活動。
三、目標預設
學習本課后,學生將能夠:
1.正確使用本課的重點詞匯、詞組和句型。
2.讀懂Amy與兩個營業(yè)員之間關于購買卡片和發(fā)夾的對話。
3.用正確的語音,語調(diào)朗讀課文。
4.在老師的指導下,進行簡單的購物表演。
5.培養(yǎng)好的購物習慣。
6.學會關心他人,養(yǎng)成健康向上的品格。
四、重點難點
1.教學重點:
(1)能讀懂Amy在為Simon 和Sandy選購禮物時與營業(yè)員之間的對話內(nèi)容。
(2)通過閱讀對話,在購物情境中理解生詞cost, cheap, match, change。
2.教學難點:能模仿課文內(nèi)容,學會在購物時用英語進行價格詢問和物品選購。
五、設計理念
本節(jié)課的話題“購物”是學生所熟悉的話題易于促使學生相互間運用語言進行交流能夠達成《英語課程標準》中對于“說”的技能一“能就熟悉的話題進行簡單交流”和“能在老師的指導下進行簡單的角色表演”的要求。通過Reading部分的學習,學生學會正確朗讀課文,讀懂簡單的對話內(nèi)容并抓住大意。這也是《英語課程標準》對于“讀”的技能要求。進行簡單的購物表演,能夠使學生在英語學習中初步形成用英語進行人際交往的社會行為,形成《英語課程標準》中所建議的學習策略。同時,通過了解主要的節(jié)假日及其慶祝方式,幫助學生拓寬視野,提高跨文化交際的能力。
六、設計思路
本節(jié)課通過對話的方式導入圣誕購物從而引出“Shopping”這個話題,本節(jié)課和其他Reading課時不一樣,它是由兩個對話組成,因此在這節(jié)課的設計中,始終注意以“圣誕購物”為主題創(chuàng)造一個師生互動、教學和諧的課堂。通過不斷深化的遞進式的提問的方式,激活學生關于購物方面已有的知識,激發(fā)學生對于購物的學習興趣,為新課的學習奠定基礎。通過閱讀問題的設置,讓學生學會一定的閱讀技巧,知道如何進行細節(jié)閱讀,逐步分解本節(jié)課的任務,為最終學生能夠在創(chuàng)設的情境中體會購物的真實性和趣味性打下基礎。接著模擬購物情境,進行角色表演,讓學生積極運用所學內(nèi)容進行表達和交流。最后通過提問培養(yǎng)學生好的購物習慣以及關心他人的向上品格。
七、教學過程

(設計說明)通過師生簡短的對話,導入圣誕節(jié)的到來以及圣誕節(jié)的一系列活動,從而引出本課時的主題“shopping”,為后面的“Revision”做好鋪墊。
Step2 Revision
T:At Christmas, we can get many presents from our family and send presents to our family. So we may go shopping. We can buy different things in different shops. (呈現(xiàn)不同商店的圖片)
S:We can buy books in a bookshop.
(設計說明)學生根據(jù)不同的圖片來復習上一節(jié)課學過的有關購物的詞匯。在此環(huán)節(jié)的教學上,學生在積極主動的思維過程中復習了相關詞匯,并在腦海中重現(xiàn)了在不同商店的購物情景,起到承上啟下的作用。

(設計說明)設置情境通過介紹為新朋友買禮物從而進行本節(jié)課的新詞教學,把本課中比較重要和常用的單詞和短語放入一個情境中,使這些單個的字、詞產(chǎn)生一定的關聯(lián)。通過語境,學生更容易理解和記憶詞匯和短語。與此同時,這也是貫穿本課的一個任務,為下文做好鋪墊。

(設計說明)在閱讀之前聽一遍課文并回答兩個有針對性的簡單問題,學生能夠大致了解文章基本內(nèi)容,也訓練了抓住文章主旨的能力。而選項采用圖片形式呈現(xiàn)則降低了難度,從而能夠快速地激發(fā)起學生的學習興趣。

(設計說明)Task2通過閱讀對話1回答設計的問題,這四個問題由淺入深逐步幫助學生對對話進行細節(jié)理解,更好地理解對話的內(nèi)容和句型。最后一個開放性提問目的是讓學生通過提問進行發(fā)散性思維的訓練。Task3 運用首字母的設計,將對話形式轉換成文章形式,對學生的學習能力更進一步的拓展訓練。

(設計說明)第二段對話的處理是通過提問讓學生在回答中學習生詞enough, change這兩個單詞。接著進行true or false的練習。這個板塊的設計不僅讓學生在問題中學習生詞,而且通過true or false的練習讓學生在泛讀的基礎上進行精讀訓練。
Task 6 Ask students to read the dialogues aloud.
(設計說明)通過操練表演課文中的對話,讓學生身臨其境地感受購物,又進行了重點單詞、短語和句型的操練,為下個討論環(huán)節(jié)奠定基礎。
Step 5 Post-reading
Task 1 Group work: ask students to discuss what the shopkeeper and customer usually say when shopping and then sum up some useful expressions.
(設計說明)通過總結顧客和店員要說的話,幫助學生回顧文章結構,同時訓練學生歸納和總結能力,也是訓練學生創(chuàng)造性思維品質(zhì)。

(設計說明)創(chuàng)設開放性的話題讓學生自己編寫對話,將難度提高,學生可以將本課所學和之前學到的知識融入自己編寫的對話中,鍛煉學生的實際操作能力,學生的學習能力由此得到提升,學生的學習能力構成英語學科核心素養(yǎng)的發(fā)展條件。初步形成用英語進行人際交往的社會行為。
Task 3 Summary: help students learn how to use money wisely and how to choose presents for the people they love.

(設計說明)最后板塊是在課本學習的基礎上將話題延伸到實際生活,在表達的時候,注意對學生的生活方式和消費態(tài)度進行引導,讓學生對待金錢有一個正確的認識和態(tài)度。讓學生學會關心他人,養(yǎng)成健康向上品格的文化意識。學生通過學習和運用這些語言,能夠在真實情景中完成“社會交往”和表達“態(tài)度”這兩方面的交際活動,最終提升學生分析和解決問題的思維品質(zhì)。
