Step1 . Warming up

1.Warming up by enjoying two funny stories. Let students try to figure out why they are funny.

1）Customer： What's that fly doing in my soup？

Waiter： Swimming， I think.

2）C： Waiter， will the pancakes be long？

W： No， sir. Round.

2.Enjoy a video to experience the art of nonverbal humour and talk about the importance of humour.

3.Introduce Chaplin- a master of nonverbal humour.

Step2. Pre-reading

Look at the title and the pictures of this passage， and try to predict its content. Or ask like this： What will you talk about if you write an article about Charlie Chaplin？

Step3. Skimming

Skim the passage and complete the following chart.

Step4. Listening and comprehending

Listen to the passage and write down the main idea of each paragraph.

六：教學(xué)反思

結(jié)合教參的教學(xué)目標(biāo)和英語學(xué)科課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)所提出的英語教學(xué)核心素養(yǎng)，我對本節(jié)課做出如下反思。

一、對學(xué)情分析不足

我對于本節(jié)課最初的教學(xué)目標(biāo)是讓學(xué)生淺層次地體驗(yàn)英語幽默和無聲幽默并學(xué)會分析語篇。但是事實(shí)證明我對于學(xué)生的學(xué)情分析不足。尋找細(xì)節(jié)信息、歸納主旨大意、描述人物外貌性格對于學(xué)生來說很輕松。不但不能激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，更不能提高學(xué)生的語言能力?；诖?，我認(rèn)為自己這節(jié)課需要在語言能力方面進(jìn)行更深層次的學(xué)習(xí)，比如as if 引導(dǎo)方式狀語從句、動詞-ing作賓語補(bǔ)足語的句式仿寫。比如讓學(xué)生寫一篇完整的summary。比如不讓學(xué)生提前記憶詞匯，多增加一些詞義猜測的訓(xùn)練等。

二.對教材和教參不熟悉，重難點(diǎn)不突出。

比如文章結(jié)構(gòu)方面，本文的兩條主線是時間順序?qū)懽縿e林的人生經(jīng)歷和人物突出特征（卓別林表演的獨(dú)到之處）。后者應(yīng)該是本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)。

三、對語篇挖掘不夠深入

核心素養(yǎng)中的文化意識是一個教學(xué)難點(diǎn)，也是我本節(jié)課遇到的最大障礙。我從小流浪漢的外貌和《淘金記》中的形象入手，但是還是沒有把英式幽默的核心講解透徹。在這方面我認(rèn)為自己還是準(zhǔn)備不充分。比如可以看看卓別林的紀(jì)錄片《卓別林傳》和他的一些經(jīng)典電影，然后找出期中最精髓的東西。讓學(xué)生更深的了解西方油墨文化的起源發(fā)展和影響。從而按照教參深入挖掘卓別林成功的個人、家庭、社會等方面的決定性因素，在學(xué)生頭腦中塑造一個清新的勤奮、樂觀、堅(jiān)韌不拔的大師形象。

深深感覺教師應(yīng)該善問善思，博學(xué)求真。
