Each significant incident happened for some internal causes， so did the ancient Olympic Games. There are four main internal causes of the emergence of the ancient Olympic Games： the geographical environment， ancient Greek society civilization， ancient Greek art.

Geographical environment in Greece is the precondition of the emergence of the ancient Olympic Games. Creek farmland is infertile and it is uneasy to grow crops.
