摘 要：在高考英語考試中，一篇優(yōu)秀的作文應注意三個重要的要素：句型，連詞，高級詞匯。其中，詞匯就好比夜空中閃爍的繁星。有了漂亮的句子，用好的連詞將其連句成段，再加上一些如星星般的亮點詞匯點綴，一篇好的高考英語作文就應用而生了。

關鍵詞：高考；詞匯；作文

對于豐富作文的詞匯，筆者認為可以從以下幾個方面著手：

①注意使用詞組、習語來代替一些單詞，以增加文采，即詞組優(yōu)先原則。如：

[原文]A new railway is being built in my hometown.

[修正]A new railway is under construction in my hometown.

②使用一些很有“洋味”的單詞。如：

[原文]Thank you for spending the time with me.

[修正]Thank you for sharing the time with us.

③為了使文章的語言更地道，大家可以選擇一些更地道、更高級的詞匯或表達來代替一些過于簡單的詞匯來優(yōu)化文章的用詞。下面提供一部分常見單詞的優(yōu)化處理建議：

think： consider/believe/hold the view that

happy：delighted/pleased/glad/joyous/cheerful

like：be fond of/enjoy/love/be keen on

④避免重復使用某一單詞或短語。如：

[原文]I like reading while my brother likes watching television.

[修正]I like reading while my brother enjoys watching television.
