在課堂上正面引導(dǎo)

對(duì)于那些蘊(yùn)藏德育思想的文章，教師可以采用正面講解的形式，盡量使用通俗易懂的英語(yǔ)，啟發(fā)學(xué)生思考，使之能夠在短時(shí)間內(nèi)獲得大量的、系統(tǒng)的思想道德方面的知識(shí)，提高他們的道德素質(zhì)。如Unit 4 “Global warming”，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生討論身邊的環(huán)境問(wèn)題，并學(xué)習(xí)文中提到的全球變暖問(wèn)題。

T： The earth is becoming warmer. What can we do about global warming？ Some people feel that individual can have little effect on such huge environmental problem.

S1： As a famous saying goes： “Together， individual can make a difference.” I think we have the power to improve our environment.

T： Do you have some good idea？

S1： Greenhouse gases are to blame for global warming. We should reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. It means we should lead a low-carbon life.

T： It sounds good！ Then who can tell me what is low-carbon life？

S2： To be low-carbon people. Taking public transport or walking to their office， using reusable bags.

S3： Dont use air conditioner or the heating system unless necessary. Dont leave our television and computer on if we are not using them.

S4： Turn off lights when we leave the room.

S5： Do not buy too many clothes. Do not waste anything.

S1： By doing these， people can save money and energy as well as improve the environment.

T： Good idea. Good summary. How about others？ Whats your opinion？...

利用名言進(jìn)行啟迪

英語(yǔ)中有很多思想內(nèi)容豐富的名言警句， 這些名言警句對(duì)學(xué)生的成長(zhǎng)具有重要的作用。如：No pain， no gain. Where there is a will， there is a way. Well begun is half done.我每周介紹3句名言，要求學(xué)生明白其中道理， 謹(jǐn)記于心，并落實(shí)于行，逐步養(yǎng)成正確的思想觀和良好的生活態(tài)度。

發(fā)揮名人效應(yīng)

現(xiàn)行英語(yǔ)教材編排的一些練習(xí)的閱讀材料中， 有不少名人的事例。如Book 1 Unit 5 “Nelson Mandela-a modern hero”，William Tyndale用英語(yǔ)編寫(xiě)了圣經(jīng)，方便說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的人閱讀；Norman Bethune“二戰(zhàn)”期間在中國(guó)當(dāng)戰(zhàn)地醫(yī)生，挽救了許多中國(guó)士兵的性命；Sun Yat-sen經(jīng)過(guò)多年的奮斗，推翻了帝制，成立了共和國(guó)；Nelson Mandela為黑人的解放事業(yè)不懈努力等等。我提問(wèn)：他們?yōu)槿祟?lèi)做出了偉大的貢獻(xiàn)，成功靠的是什么？學(xué)生解答這一問(wèn)題， 既能更好的理解閱讀材料，又增加了愛(ài)國(guó)成才、進(jìn)取奉獻(xiàn)的精神。

積極組織課外活動(dòng)

結(jié)合紀(jì)念日或重要節(jié)日開(kāi)展活動(dòng)。如Womens Day， May Day， National Day， Teachers Day， Mothers Day， Thanksgiving Day， Christmas Day等等，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)節(jié)日氛圍， 開(kāi)展英語(yǔ)活動(dòng)， 不僅有助于鞏固所學(xué)英語(yǔ)知識(shí)， 提高英語(yǔ)運(yùn)用能力，也有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的情操、愛(ài)國(guó)主義精神、凝心聚力的中國(guó)精神。

開(kāi)展多種形式的英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽。根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)水平， 開(kāi)展豐富多彩的英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽。我要求學(xué)生依據(jù)所學(xué)知識(shí)，通過(guò)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)等活動(dòng)，增強(qiáng)英語(yǔ)實(shí)踐能力，使學(xué)生的綜合能力在實(shí)踐活動(dòng)中逐步提高。學(xué)生樂(lè)于學(xué)習(xí)、善于總結(jié)、不畏艱難、善于進(jìn)取的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)也就會(huì)在其中逐步養(yǎng)成。
