        一、CLASS OPENING AND REVIEW(3分鐘)

        * Greeting:

        Give the standard greeting to welcome students to English class.

        * Sing a song:

        Play the audiotape and sing the song “How are you?”

        The students sing the song and do actions.

        * Free talk:

        Talk about the weather and the animals on the farm. Use some questions such as: How’s the weather today? What animals do you like? Do you like a pig?

        二、KEY CONCEPTS(9分鐘)

        * Use the multimedia and review the animals on the farm.

        1. Show the picture of a farm and lead a discussion about the picture. Ask some questions such as:

        Do you like a farm?

        What can you see on a farm?

        2. The teacher leads to a discussion about the animals on a farm.

        Show a cow and talk about it.

        What color is it?

        Do you like it?

        Use the same way to show a pig, a chicken, a duck.And talk about them. Encourage the students to talk and discussion. They can talk about the color, what they like or dislike Etc.

        三、Learn the new concepts of the story

        1. The teacher asks: What else can you see on a farm?

        2. Show the pictures of the field,say this word several times.

        Show the picture of mud, say the word several times.

        Show the picture of pond. Introduce pond.

        The students try to say and understand and recognizethese words: field, mud, pond.

        STORY:

        四、Prepare to read(5分鐘)

        Show the beginning of the story. Tell the students that the story is about Jenny’s father when he was a little boy.

        Ask the students to look at the picture and guess:

        What happened?

        What is the main idea about the story?

        五、Listen and Read the story(3分鐘)

        Play the audiotape. Give the listening command.

        The students look at their story books and listen.

        六、Discuss the story (18分鐘)

        Use the multimedia to show the story and lead the discussion.

        1. The multimedia shows: When Jenny’s father was a little boy, he lived on a farm.

        Ask some questions about this part.

        Such as: Where was the boy?Who was the boy?

        The students talk about this part.

        2. Show the second picture. Talk about the picture.

        3. Show the third and fourth pictures.

        七、Listen to the story again. Discuss the story in small groups,The teacher provides some

        questions such as:

        Do you like the story? Can you ride a pig in the mud? Do you like to ride a pig in the mud? Are you silly?

        The students also can talk about their experience about the farm.

        Sing a song and say good-bye

        Make a new song:“This is the way we find the cow .”

        1. Listen to the story again.

        上好一節(jié)課不僅需要課前的精心準(zhǔn)備,還需要課堂的調(diào)控與實(shí)踐,而課后的教學(xué)反思則是不斷提高與進(jìn)步的推動(dòng)力,只有在反思中總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn),揚(yáng)長避短,才能不斷進(jìn)步。本課為一節(jié)故事課,要求學(xué)生在掌握相關(guān)詞匯的基礎(chǔ)上看、聽、讀并談?wù)摴适聝?nèi)容,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言表達(dá)及語言運(yùn)用能力。在課的一開始以親切的問候?qū)?,師生同?“How are you?”在歌聲與活動(dòng)中互相問候。在這一環(huán)節(jié)中,學(xué)生表現(xiàn)輕松、愉快,很快地把注意力轉(zhuǎn)移到英語學(xué)習(xí)中,提高了學(xué)生的注意力。新授部分的詞匯運(yùn)用多媒體展示,給學(xué)生以直觀形象的認(rèn)知,在這一環(huán)節(jié)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)效果良好。在聽讀故事的環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生表現(xiàn)出對(duì)故事的極大熱情。由于這一環(huán)節(jié)講究的是對(duì)故事的整體認(rèn)知及理解,并不要求每一個(gè)單詞都會(huì)說,學(xué)生會(huì)對(duì)故事中出現(xiàn)的一些詞或句子比較陌生,因此,在故事的討論這一環(huán)節(jié),由于詞匯量和語言知識(shí)的積累所限,學(xué)生間所進(jìn)行的討論顯得有些單調(diào),如:部分學(xué)生只是局限在圍繞:What’s this? What’s her name? What color is the pig? 等幾個(gè)簡單問題的討論。因此,要想進(jìn)行知識(shí)的延伸,就需要突破這幾個(gè)簡單的問題,把討論引導(dǎo)到故事的重要內(nèi)容上,這些需要以一定的語言積累和詞匯積累為基石,這就對(duì)我們提出了兩方面的要求:一方面要注意平時(shí)的積累,另一方面,在進(jìn)行故事討論的過程中,為學(xué)生提供更多可供參考的語言材料。
