2020年12月底，科隆展覽宣布將與三星電子合作，為線下展會參與者的安全保駕護航。雙方共同研發(fā)了一個IPS室內(nèi)定位系統(tǒng)，專門用于監(jiān)測場館各個展廳內(nèi)訪客的軌跡和人數(shù)，并向所有參會者實時共享這些數(shù)據(jù)，以此來有效調(diào)控展館人員密度，降低疫情風(fēng)險。訪客可以通過“電子保安”APP看到自己的實時定位。據(jù)悉，這款A(yù)PP將在科隆展覽2021年3月10-13日舉辦的首場線下展會IDS牙醫(yī)展正式使用。

Indoor positioning system enhances safety

The community of developers of K？lnmesse and Samsung SDS are launching a new product to make it possible for face-to-face exhibitions and their exhibitors and customers to stage safe events in the age of corona. They have developed an indoor positioning system （IPS） that monitors numbers of persons and the movement of visitors through the halls – in an anonymized way – and makes the collected data available to the fair participants in real time. The users own location is also displayed dynamically. Visitors can use this information to adjust their exhibition visit accordingly. This new app， called"eGuard"， is part of a comprehensive package of safety measures to provide an environment in which meetings and business can resume.

The eGuard-App will be deployed to coincide with the return of K？lnmesses own events and will be a core component of the safety and hygiene concept of IDS 2021 （March 10 to 13）.
