又到了一年春意盎然時(shí)，春天的杭州可能擁有著一年當(dāng)中最美的風(fēng)景，為這座歷史文化名城增添無邊風(fēng)光。杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物設(shè)計(jì)者張文和楊毅弘在手機(jī)里看著“江南憶”組合的形象向全球發(fā)布，百感交集。

從2019年4月16日，杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)組委會(huì)面向全球征集杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)、亞殘運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物設(shè)計(jì)方案，到2020年4月3日正式對(duì)外發(fā)布，經(jīng)過專家評(píng)審、大數(shù)據(jù)查重，再到修改深化、評(píng)議溝通、審批允準(zhǔn)，最終，“江南憶”組合正式成為杭州2022年第19屆亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物。

作為國(guó)際大型賽事最顯著、最受關(guān)注的形象標(biāo)志，吉祥物不僅體現(xiàn)出賽會(huì)主辦國(guó)和主辦城市的文化，而且深受青少年的喜愛。

來自全球的4633件作品參與首選

從啟動(dòng)征集到集中收件，杭州從春天邁進(jìn)了盛夏。

2019年7月6日是吉祥物征集集中收件的第一天，中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院研究生翟莫梵是那天最早趕到現(xiàn)場(chǎng)提交作品的，“我的創(chuàng)意來源是西湖和錢塘江，主要是體現(xiàn)杭州包容發(fā)展的特點(diǎn)。名字我都想好了，叫‘汐汐和‘湖湖，取了西湖的諧音?！焙芸欤贾輥喗M委就收到了應(yīng)征作品4633件，這些作品來自全國(guó)31個(gè)省、自治區(qū)和直轄市及香港特別行政區(qū)、臺(tái)灣地區(qū)，還有英國(guó)、美國(guó)等歐美國(guó)家。張文和楊毅弘的作品就在其中。

8月的杭城，天氣炎熱，暑氣逼人。4633件吉祥物應(yīng)征作品被整整齊齊擺放在評(píng)審現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，接受評(píng)審專家的盲選。11位由國(guó)內(nèi)外藝術(shù)、設(shè)計(jì)、影視動(dòng)畫、人文等領(lǐng)域的權(quán)威專家以及體育部門和運(yùn)動(dòng)員代表組成的評(píng)審團(tuán)，一件一件作品篩選，無論是在藝術(shù)圈里摸爬滾打多年的專家，還是對(duì)吉祥物形象充滿好奇的年輕人，都會(huì)微蹙眉頭，掂量著手中應(yīng)征作品的分量?！拔覀儾荒茏屓魏我环萦邢Ｍ淖髌繁贿z漏，所以對(duì)于每一份應(yīng)征作品都要負(fù)責(zé)?！碑?dāng)代藝術(shù)大師、評(píng)審團(tuán)主席韓美林在評(píng)選之前，很嚴(yán)肅地告訴每一位評(píng)委。在這位“福娃之父”（2008年北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物設(shè)計(jì)者）看來，吉祥物設(shè)計(jì)一定要給年輕人以足夠的信任，讓他們的作品有“復(fù)活”的機(jī)會(huì)。

審視再審視，斟酌再斟酌，經(jīng)過一輪輪評(píng)審，從4633件到100件再到50件，最終，10件入圍作品從評(píng)委們的選擇中產(chǎn)生，其中4件作品成為重點(diǎn)推薦方案。

將女兒的表情轉(zhuǎn)化到吉祥物上

曾經(jīng)獲得全國(guó)美展平面類金獎(jiǎng)的楊毅弘和從事動(dòng)漫教學(xué)、設(shè)計(jì)的張文是一對(duì)“夫妻檔”，他們的設(shè)計(jì)方案靈動(dòng)可愛，既體現(xiàn)了深厚的平面設(shè)計(jì)的基礎(chǔ)，又具有動(dòng)畫延展的潛力。他們坦言，設(shè)計(jì)靈感源自杭州深厚的人文底蘊(yùn)，又努力融入現(xiàn)代科技，尋求一種新的表達(dá)。

初稿中，三個(gè)吉祥物的形象分別起名為“江江”、“南南”和“憶憶”，連接成的“江南憶”勾起所有人對(duì)杭州的遐想——“江南憶，最憶是杭州”。張文說，醞釀、創(chuàng)作的過程和女兒阿喜的出生過程很相似。夫妻二人反復(fù)琢磨女兒阿喜的動(dòng)作和表情，將這些作為靈感，轉(zhuǎn)化到吉祥物的表情、動(dòng)態(tài)中去?！盀槿烁改?，這讓我們重新有機(jī)會(huì)去梳理自己與小孩的關(guān)系，特別有意思。”

很快，4件獲選作品中被選出3件，作為重點(diǎn)深化修改方案。杭州亞組委還委托中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院組織3個(gè)專家組分別進(jìn)行背靠背修改，中央美院、清華大學(xué)、同濟(jì)大學(xué)等高校也參加了修改指導(dǎo)和論證。夜以繼日的深化修改，探索、突破、創(chuàng)新、揚(yáng)棄，一組組脫胎于原設(shè)計(jì)稿，凝結(jié)著創(chuàng)新巧思的吉祥物逐漸顯露“真容”。

“修改的進(jìn)程，對(duì)于我們來說，真是一件‘痛并快樂著的過程?！痹趯＜覉F(tuán)隊(duì)的指導(dǎo)下，張文和楊毅弘夫婦不但要完成教學(xué)工作，還需要照顧不到3歲的孩子。“我們當(dāng)時(shí)的日常是這樣的：剛修改完設(shè)計(jì)方案，就趕去托兒班接阿喜，帶著阿喜一起去打印店，先把她‘寄存在打印店附近的兒童游樂區(qū)，仔細(xì)核對(duì)好打印稿件后，再帶著孩子沖去亞組委對(duì)接修改細(xì)節(jié)。”張文說：“感覺就像接了大寶寶放學(xué)，又要送三個(gè)小寶寶去上學(xué)。時(shí)間雖然很緊湊，但是過程充滿了趣味和歡樂?！?/p>

張文開玩笑說，這段歷程對(duì)自己來說，是為人父母的修煉，甚至像是為二胎做準(zhǔn)備。前后修改了50多次后，張文和楊毅弘夫婦終于迎來了“正確的那一下”：“打印出來時(shí)，感覺一下子就對(duì)了，所有的色彩拉回到清麗、雅致、婉約那種符合杭州特點(diǎn)的色彩特征。在專家的指導(dǎo)下，我們對(duì)吉祥物色彩的明度、純度、色相進(jìn)行了精準(zhǔn)的設(shè)定。”

3個(gè)小人傾注了對(duì)杭州的情感

2019年11月，杭城秋色怡人，秋風(fēng)卷起落葉，讓整個(gè)城市灑滿了一層一層的金色。此時(shí)，杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物的評(píng)審工作轉(zhuǎn)入一系列嚴(yán)密的送審報(bào)批程序。

最終，由張文、楊毅弘設(shè)計(jì)，杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)藝術(shù)總監(jiān)宋建明等專家團(tuán)隊(duì)指導(dǎo)修改的“江南憶”組合，成為杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物推薦方案。

亞洲奧林匹克理事會(huì)（簡(jiǎn)稱亞奧理事會(huì)）總干事侯賽因在看過“江南憶”后表示，杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物設(shè)計(jì)方案將中國(guó)文化元素、主辦城市特色、亞運(yùn)會(huì)特點(diǎn)和現(xiàn)代風(fēng)格有機(jī)融為一體，以鮮明的智能化形象在歷屆亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物中獨(dú)樹一幟，與杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽、口號(hào)相互呼應(yīng)，反映出杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)的獨(dú)特魅力，相信能受到亞洲和全球特別是青少年的喜愛。

按照程序，亞奧理事會(huì)第一時(shí)間向全體執(zhí)委征詢意見，得到熱烈回應(yīng)和好評(píng)。2020年1月13日，亞奧理事會(huì)致函杭州亞組委正式允準(zhǔn)這一吉祥物推薦方案。

春風(fēng)又綠江南岸。經(jīng)過一年的追尋、努力和憧憬，2020年4月，春暖花開之時(shí)，杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物承載和傳遞著幸福與吉祥的祝愿，揭開神秘的面紗。

四季的西湖變換著顏色，古樸的拱宸橋上印刻著時(shí)光，5000年文明的良渚古城遺址訴說著悠久的歷史故事……這些杭州美好的樣子，張文和楊毅弘都一一經(jīng)歷過。在杭城的14年，他們從求學(xué)的少年成長(zhǎng)為教書育人的老師;從甜蜜的戀人變?yōu)橄噱σ阅姆蚱蓿麄儗⒆约旱墓适聦懺诹撕贾莸拇蠼中∠铮瑢⒆约旱娜松秃贾菥o緊相連在一起，而亞運(yùn)會(huì)吉祥物的誕生，傾注了他們對(duì)杭州所有的感情，還有那綿延歲月里歡愉的故事?！鞍⑾彩俏覀兗业拇髮?，現(xiàn)在我們又有了大名為‘琮琮‘蓮蓮‘宸宸這3個(gè)‘活蹦亂跳的小寶寶，我們把它們當(dāng)成3個(gè)小孩來看待，給它們最好的營(yíng)養(yǎng)、最好的環(huán)境讓它們慢慢成長(zhǎng)，它們和阿喜有一種親情重疊的關(guān)系?！?/p>

A Story behind Mascots of Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games

On April 3， 2020， the organizing committee of the 19th Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou officially unveiled the three mascots to the world. With Covid-19 social distancing measures still in place， mascots Congcong， Lianlian and Chenchen were introduced to the public in an online launch ceremony.

Zhang Wen and Yang Yihong， the designers of the triplets， felt thrilled and satisfied when watching the images of the mascots on their mobile phones. The names of the mascots came from the citys three World Heritage sites， namely， the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu Culture， the West Lake， and the Grand Canal.

Zhang and Yang are a husband and wife design team. Both are teachers at China Academy of Art. Yang is a gold prize winner at a national graphic design competition. They named the three mascots after a poem titled Memories of Jiangnan by Bai Juyi （772-846） of the Tang Dynasty （618-907）. When the couple submitted their design work， the names of the three mascots were derived from Bais poem.

The organizing committee of 19th Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou sent out invitations on April 16， 2019 to the world for a design of mascots. Altogether， 4，633 submissions were received from home and abroad. In August， 11 jurors examined all the works， which were displayed orderly without showing designers names. Han Meilin， who masterminded the mascots for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games， was the head of the jury. He paid special attention to works by young designers. Whenever there was a chance for some designs to reenter the consideration， he would prefer those by young designers. “We dont overlook any hopeful designs and we take responsibility for all the works submitted，” said Han. After rounds of reviews， the long list was shortened to 100， then to 50， and then to 10. Finally， four were recommended to the organizing committee for further consideration.

Zhang and Yang say that the designing resembled the birth of their daughter. While working at the drafts， they thought about their daughter， how the baby girl smiled， how she did this or that. The inspiration from their daughter was translated into their designs.

Pretty soon， three were picked out of the four. The organizing committee commissioned three independent panels， set up by China Academy of Art based in Hangzhou， to help finalize the designs. Experts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts， Tsinghua University and Tongji University provided suggestions and advices. In the busy months， Zhang and Yang followed a hectic daily routine. They taught in the morning， worked in the afternoon to fine-tune the designs in response to feedback from experts. Then they picked up the baby daughter from the nursery school and got her to the care at a childrens center for a while when they got their latest revisions printed out at a printers shop. And then they picked up their baby girl and off they went to visit the office of the organizing committee to present their revisions and receive new feedback. Altogether the couple revised their designs more than 50 times.

In November 2019， the husband-wifes designs were finalized and submitted for the final decision. Eventually， their three mascots， directed by Song Jianming， art director of Hangzhou Asian Games and head of a panel of experts， were selected as the final recommendation to the Olympic Council of Asia for approval. On January 13， the Olympic Council of Asia notified the organizing committee of its approval for the use of the mascot triplets.

Zhang Wen and Yang Yihong have been in Hangzhou for 14 years. In the city， they received college education， they became art teachers， and they fell in love， got married and had their first baby. Their life is interwoven intimately with the life of Hangzhou.
