一、教材內(nèi)容與分析

本單元話題是健康與急救 （ Health and first aid ）. Section B 是Section A主題的繼續(xù)與延伸，由Section A側(cè)重談?wù)摷膊〖安贿m轉(zhuǎn)向?qū)κ鹿蕚?、急救（first aid）的討論;語(yǔ)言上，鞏固Section A所學(xué)重點(diǎn)語(yǔ)言內(nèi)容、詞匯及表達(dá)，突出對(duì)步驟順序的表達(dá);技能上，側(cè)重綜合性的聽(tīng)、讀、寫(xiě)的訓(xùn)練，尤其突出閱讀;策略上，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用作者對(duì)事件描寫(xiě)的先后順序來(lái)加強(qiáng)對(duì)語(yǔ)篇理解;情感上，教育學(xué)生樹(shù)立頑強(qiáng)的意志品質(zhì)和果敢獨(dú)立的精神，學(xué)習(xí)課文中主人翁熱愛(ài)生活、珍惜生命，只要有一線希望就不會(huì)放棄的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。本節(jié)課是一節(jié)典型的閱讀課。

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

（一）語(yǔ)言知識(shí)目標(biāo)

（1）學(xué)習(xí)掌握詞匯 breathe， sunburned， climber， ourselves， accident， situation， blood等;

（2）正確使用下列常用表達(dá)be used to， take risks， run out （of）， be in control of 等;

（3）復(fù)習(xí)鞏固有關(guān)運(yùn)動(dòng)傷害的短語(yǔ)，通過(guò)語(yǔ)篇學(xué)習(xí)其他關(guān)于運(yùn)動(dòng)傷害的表述，進(jìn)行拓展。

（二）語(yǔ)言技能目標(biāo)

（1）能夠運(yùn)用快讀、細(xì)讀等技巧閱讀文章;

（2）能根據(jù)上下文語(yǔ)境推測(cè)生詞、短語(yǔ)以及篇章的含義。

（三）學(xué)習(xí)策略

（1）能利用事件的發(fā)展順序來(lái)輔助理解閱讀材料;

（2）能根據(jù)情境及上下文推測(cè)生詞詞性及詞義，通過(guò)查閱字典尋找合理的詞義。

（四）情感態(tài)度

（1）教育學(xué)生樹(shù)立頑強(qiáng)的意志品質(zhì)和果敢獨(dú)立的精神;

了解阿倫·羅爾斯頓 （Aron Ralston）的經(jīng)歷及其回憶錄《生死兩難》（“Between a Rock and a Hard Place”）.

三、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)

教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：理解篇章中出現(xiàn)的新單詞、新短語(yǔ)的意義;在閱讀篇章中應(yīng)用Finding the Order of Events的，閱讀策略;根據(jù)篇章內(nèi)容學(xué)會(huì)怎樣記述一件過(guò)去發(fā)生的意外事件。

教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：運(yùn)用閱讀策略，根據(jù)事件發(fā)展順序?yàn)榫渥优判?，以及提高語(yǔ)言綜合運(yùn)用能力。

Step 1? Leading-in

1. Greeting

T： Hello， everyone. Before the lesson， I want to ask you some questions.

T： How was your winter vacation？

S1： It was great.

T： What did you do in the winter vacation？

S2： I went to Sanya with my family.

T： Did you play sports？ What sports did you do？

S3： Yes， I played basketball and badminton in the winter vacation.

T： Do you like playing sports？

S4： Yes， I do.

T： Today， well read a passage about sports.

（Write “Unit 1 Whats the matter？ Section B 2a-2e” on the blackboard.）

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】由于本課詞匯量大，需要通過(guò)反復(fù)多次的朗讀，幫助學(xué)生快速記憶，且要增加與之匹配的練習(xí)，進(jìn)一步掃清閱讀障礙，讓學(xué)生充分理解文章內(nèi)容。

Step Two? Pre-reading

T： When we play sports， we may meet some accidents， such as， falling down， getting sunburned and so on.

T： Do you like playing soccer？ What accidents may happen when people play soccer？

S1： Yes， I do. Maybe we will fall down， hurt our legs or get hit on the head.

T： Did you swim this winter vacation？ What accidents may happen when people swim？

S2： No， I cant swim. Maybe we will get sunburned or hurt our backs.

T： What are they doing？ Is it safe or dangerous if you climb Beishan？ Is it safe or dangerous if you climb Mount Qomolangma？ What accidents may happen when people climb the mountains？

S3： They are climbing the mountains. I think it is more dangerous if we climb Mount Qomolangma. Maybe we will get sunburned or have problems breathing.

T： What sports will we read about？ Please look at the picture. Read the title together.

T： Whats the reading passage about according to the picture and the title？

S： I think its a reading passage about a mountain climber， he is taking a risk.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在正式閱讀文章之前，根據(jù)書(shū)上2a的問(wèn)題讓學(xué)生根據(jù)圖片提前了解一些運(yùn)動(dòng)中可能會(huì)發(fā)生的意外傷害，也讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)意外傷害的表達(dá)方法。通過(guò)提前鋪墊，再根據(jù)文章所給圖片和標(biāo)題對(duì)文章進(jìn)行猜測(cè)，激發(fā)學(xué)生進(jìn)一步閱讀了解更多內(nèi)容的想法。
