課堂教學(xué)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生核心素養(yǎng)的最主要途徑，以下我將基于自己對核心素養(yǎng)的理解來談?wù)剬σ惶酶咧杏⒄Z閱讀課的思考。

一、教材分析

本課例的教學(xué)內(nèi)容為外研社高中英語教材選修六Module 2 Fantasy Literature 中第二篇閱讀課文The Story of J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter。這篇課文主要講述哈利波特系列叢書的作者J. K. Rowling 創(chuàng)作哈利波特的過程，期間遇到的困難以及她如何取得的成功。哈利波特系列是一套風(fēng)靡全球的得到無數(shù)讀者喜愛的叢書，很多學(xué)生都是這套叢書的書迷，也有很多學(xué)生視J.K.Rowling為他們的偶像，所以學(xué)生對這篇課文的內(nèi)容是非常感興趣的。

二、教學(xué)目標

在學(xué)完這節(jié)課后，學(xué)生要能夠①知道什么是fantasy literature；②歸納J. K. Rowling成功的原因；③基于文章內(nèi)容完成對J. K. Rowling 的采訪。

三、教學(xué)策略

首先，通過 “What is fantasy literature？” 這一問題來引出Harry Potter 繼而引出本文主人公J. K. Rowling。然后，利用一段短視頻來激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣并引發(fā)學(xué)生思考 “What makes J. K. Rowling a successful woman？” 。每個人都想成功，我想這個問題是切合學(xué)生對成功的渴望以及汲取別人成功秘訣引以自用的內(nèi)心需求的，所以這一問題會成為貫穿全文的關(guān)鍵問題。最后，以支架理論為基礎(chǔ)進行教學(xué)設(shè)計，逐步幫學(xué)生完成采訪J. K. Rowling 的最終教學(xué)目標。

四、教學(xué)過程

Step 1 Leading in.

●What is fantasy literature？

設(shè)計目的：通過讓學(xué)生思考什么是奇幻文學(xué)，學(xué)生很容易會想到Harry Potter 以及他的創(chuàng)造者J. K. Rowling，從而引出文章話題。

Step 2 Pre-reading.

●Watch a video and think about the question what makes J. K. Rowling a successful woman.

設(shè)計目的：通過觀看視頻激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣并引發(fā)學(xué)生思考到底是什么讓J. K. Rowling從一個窮困潦倒的單親媽媽變成一個億萬富翁的。這一問題是貫穿全文閱讀過程的一個關(guān)鍵問題，這個問題的答案也是學(xué)生在讀完文章后能從J. K. Rowling身上學(xué)到的成功的秘訣。

Step 3 While-reading.

Activity 1： Read and divide the passage into three parts and conclude the main idea for each part.

設(shè)計目的：讓學(xué)生對文章主要內(nèi)容以及結(jié)構(gòu)和邏輯有一個總的理解。

Activity 2： Read Part. 1 and find out what happened in these places.

●What makes J. K. Rowling a successful woman and what can we learn from her？

設(shè)計目的：第一部分以地點為線索講述J. K. Rowling是如何獲得創(chuàng)作Harry Potter 的靈感以及她怎樣一步步把靈感變?yōu)槌墒熳髌返?。通過閱讀讓學(xué)生思考是什么讓J. K. Rowling成功的以及我們能從她身上學(xué)到什么。

Activity 3： Read Part. 2 and answer the questions.

●What difficulties did J. K. Rowling meet and how did she respond？

●What makes J. K. Rowling a successful woman and what does she teach us？

設(shè)計目的：通過閱讀學(xué)生知道了J. K. Rowling 的成功并非偶然，從而引導(dǎo)學(xué)生以課文為基礎(chǔ)歸納出J. K. Rowling的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)——堅強、堅持以及她成功的秘訣 “What does not kill you makes you stronger”。

Activity 4： Read Part. 3 and find out the facts about the two numbers.

55 —— Rowlings books have been translated into more than 55 languages.

250 —— It has been estimated that more than 250 million copies have been distributed around the world.

●What can we learn from the two numbers？ （Harry Potter series are very popular. ）

●Why is Harry Potter series so popular？

設(shè)計目的：通過閱讀和回答問題讓學(xué)生自己去發(fā)現(xiàn)Harry Potter 系列叢書風(fēng)靡全球的原因并學(xué)習(xí)numbers是增加說服力的有效方式。

Step 4 Post-reading——Interview J. K. Rowling.

●After reading the passage and gaining some basic information about J. K. Rowling， lets get closer to her. Mr. Wang has invited Rowling to his program——Tonight 80s Talk Show and he wants you to interview J. K. Rowling with him.

●What questions will you ask Rowling？ Here Ill give you some examples and youd better come up with more questions. Try to be as imaginative as you can.

●Act out the interview.

設(shè)計目的：創(chuàng)造一個真實環(huán)境——和王自健一起采訪J. K. Rowling。然后以支架理論為基礎(chǔ)，先讓學(xué)生以小組為單位brainstorm 自己想要在采訪時問J. K. Rowling的問題——完成采訪的骨架，然后再讓學(xué)生兩人一組給采訪添枝加葉從而最終完成采訪。為了讓采訪更真實，老師提前給學(xué)生提供采訪慣用的開頭語和結(jié)束語。在這一過程中既鍛煉了學(xué)生的語言能力，也培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新能力和批判性思維，符合核心素養(yǎng)的要求。

五、課后反思

本節(jié)課通過一段視頻引發(fā)學(xué)生思考“是什么讓J. K. Rowling從一個窮困潦倒的單親媽媽成為一個億萬富翁的”這一問題。并以此問題為線索，貫穿全文閱讀，讓學(xué)生自己去探索和歸納J. K. Rowling成功的原因并從中汲取養(yǎng)分。然后以支架理論為基礎(chǔ)，基于文本，層層鋪墊，讓學(xué)生最終完成采訪J. K. Rowling的教學(xué)目標。整個教學(xué)過程都體現(xiàn)了英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的要求，既提高了學(xué)生的語言能力也鍛煉了學(xué)生的思維品質(zhì)，這是一堂非常好的閱讀課。
