介紹一位高中新生第一天到校觀(guān)察和接觸到的人和事物以及個(gè)人的感受,內(nèi)容緊密結(jié)合學(xué)生的現(xiàn)實(shí)生活。在教學(xué)中可以根據(jù)學(xué)校,班級(jí)的情況,布置學(xué)生一份簡(jiǎn)歷,做一個(gè)小冊(cè)子,介紹自己的學(xué)校。
(1)掌握含有-ed結(jié)尾的詞的發(fā)音規(guī)則并能準(zhǔn)確讀出。
(2)復(fù)習(xí)一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的三種不同的用法,學(xué)習(xí)以-ing和-ed 結(jié)尾的形容詞。
語(yǔ)言技能目標(biāo)
(1)聽(tīng)懂有關(guān)學(xué)校介紹的 并獲取信息;聽(tīng)懂其他材料介紹的學(xué)校情況并獲取信息;識(shí)別所學(xué)的生詞,詞語(yǔ)和含有-ing 和-ed 的派生詞,聽(tīng)懂它們?cè)诰渥雍投温涞囊饬x并獲取信息。
(2)能說(shuō)出Everyday English介紹的使對(duì)話(huà)繼續(xù)進(jìn)行的表達(dá)方式;熟練地和同學(xué)討論本模塊布置的話(huà)題;熟練地介紹學(xué)校或班級(jí)的情況;流利說(shuō)出含有本模塊生詞、短語(yǔ)和含有-ing 、-ed的句子和段落。
(3)理解所學(xué)生詞、短語(yǔ)和含有-ing、-ed的句子和段落并獲取信息;理解模塊及同學(xué)提供的介紹學(xué)校的材料并獲取信息。
(4)熟練寫(xiě)出含有一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的句子和段落;熟練完成模塊所要求的各種書(shū)面表達(dá);比較自如地寫(xiě)出介紹學(xué)校情況的文章。
教學(xué)內(nèi)容和目標(biāo):
1.學(xué)習(xí)本課與高中學(xué)習(xí)科目有關(guān)的生詞。
2.通過(guò)討論問(wèn)答學(xué)習(xí)生詞,為閱讀活動(dòng)做準(zhǔn)備
教學(xué)過(guò)程:
Task 1:__Talk about the favourite or difficult subjects and the reasons
Pre-task Brainstorming
Ask students to bring out as many words about the subjects as possible
(work in pairs)then collect the answers from students
Task-cycle Learn the new words and review the old ones by using
Activity 1 Classify the words about the subjects
Check the answers by raising the questions in Ex 1 on page 1 or the Ex 6 on page 68
Activity 2 Ask Ss do Ex 2 individually–complete the sentences and a reason and then show the answers in a group of 4
Post-task:Describe the favourite or difficult subjects
Activity 1 collect some expressions or sentence patterns that can be used to describe the likes or dislikes
Activity 2 oral composition--- My favourite /difficult subjects

Activity 1 Discuss the 3 questions in Ex1 on page 2 in pairs
1.What are the main difference between Junior High school and Senior High school?
2. Do you think that work at Senior High school is harder than at Junior High school?
3.Are Senior High teachers similar to Junior High teachers?
(if the Ss have difficulty in talking, give them some tips and help)
Activity 2 Guess the meaning of the words and discuss the English study
1.Read the questions in Ex 2 and ask Ss to guess the meaning of the following of the words

2.Ask Ss to answer those questions and learn more words
3.work in pairs and get Ss to share the answers by asking and answering

本課堂的安排是為整個(gè)模塊學(xué)習(xí)做好話(huà)題內(nèi)容和詞匯方面的準(zhǔn)備和鋪墊。目的在于為學(xué)習(xí)創(chuàng)造氣氛,激發(fā)興趣。在學(xué)習(xí)生詞時(shí),訓(xùn)練聯(lián)想,對(duì)比和歸納等認(rèn)知策略,訓(xùn)練用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行初步思考。
