一、引言

語(yǔ)料庫(kù)語(yǔ)言學(xué) （Corpus Linguistics）是當(dāng)代語(yǔ)言學(xué)的一門(mén)新興學(xué)科。它運(yùn)用計(jì)算機(jī)手段對(duì)巨量的語(yǔ)言資源庫(kù)進(jìn)行高速提取并準(zhǔn)確顯示批量語(yǔ)言使用的實(shí)際情況，從而揭示語(yǔ)言使用的傾向性規(guī)律及其傳遞的意義功能及思想意識(shí)。本文主要講述如何在高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中利用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)作為輔助手段，來(lái)提高教學(xué)效率。

二、利用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)輔助高中英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作

許多學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作中會(huì)出現(xiàn)一些共同的問(wèn)題，即不知道應(yīng)該選擇什么樣的詞匯，或者不知道單詞的具體搭配而導(dǎo)致句子出錯(cuò)。

下面以高中英語(yǔ)一節(jié)寫(xiě)作課為例，展示教師如何利用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)幫助學(xué)生迅速并準(zhǔn)確地提取該語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的詞頻表及核心詞匯表，方便學(xué)生進(jìn)行觀察、歸類(lèi)、篩選與研究。最終達(dá)到提高句子表達(dá)的準(zhǔn)確性以及提高學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作水平的目的。

（一）語(yǔ)料庫(kù)在寫(xiě)作訓(xùn)練中的運(yùn)用

教師把寫(xiě)作課的課堂活動(dòng)分為4個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)：1.呈現(xiàn)本節(jié)課的寫(xiě)作任務(wù)。2.幫助學(xué)生明確寫(xiě)作內(nèi)容，了解寫(xiě)作目的。3.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用微型語(yǔ)料搜素與本節(jié)寫(xiě)作課相關(guān)的信息。4.讓學(xué)生完成作文，并且進(jìn)行自評(píng)。

作文題目如下：

假定你是李華，你的澳大利亞網(wǎng)友Rosemary因?yàn)闆](méi)有通過(guò)漢語(yǔ)水平等級(jí)考試 （the Chinese Proficiency Test）而情緒低落。請(qǐng)你給她發(fā)一封電子郵件給予安慰、提出建議并表達(dá)祝福。

首先老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行審題，這是一封建議信。主要內(nèi)容如下：1.給予安慰；2.提出建議；3.表達(dá)祝愿。

人稱(chēng)是第一和第二人稱(chēng)為主。

時(shí)態(tài)是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)、一般將來(lái)時(shí)為主。

分析了題目的主要內(nèi)容后，同學(xué)們了解到要寫(xiě)好這篇文章應(yīng)該掌握有關(guān)安慰、建議以及表達(dá)祝福的句型。老師可以提供自建的微型語(yǔ)料庫(kù)搜索寫(xiě)作句型及詞匯。

第一段的要點(diǎn)是：給予安慰。

1.知道你現(xiàn)在……我也很難過(guò)

2.很多人都有類(lèi)似經(jīng)歷，我完全理解……

3.不要過(guò)于擔(dān)憂。

簡(jiǎn)單翻譯要點(diǎn)：

1.I’m sorry to hear that you couldn’t pass… I quite understand how you feel now.

2.I have similar experiences,so I can really relate to you at the moment.

3.Please don’t worry.

從本次作文題目交代的背景來(lái)看，澳大利亞網(wǎng)友Rosemary因沒(méi)有通過(guò)漢語(yǔ)水平等級(jí)考試而情緒低落。學(xué)生首先要考慮如何翻譯 “沒(méi)有通過(guò)”考試，除了用couldn’t pass外，還可以用fail,那么fail在句子中的搭配如何？如果學(xué)生不知道，可利用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)分別對(duì)fail與failed進(jìn)行搜索。得出以下的信息。

從搜索結(jié)果可以得出fail在句子中的搭配：

1.fail to do sth.沒(méi)有，不能；

2.fail in （doing） sth.在……方面失?。?/p>

3.fail sth.不及格。

第二段：提出建議。

建議包括：如何面對(duì)失敗？如何學(xué)好中文？

引導(dǎo)學(xué)生寫(xiě)這部分的時(shí)候可以引用名言、諺語(yǔ)。

As the saying goes,failure is the mother of success.

…,no road of flowers leads toglory.

…,a man can be destroyed but not defeated.

…,what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

…,nothing is impossible to a willing heart.

…,where there is a will,there is a way.

提出建議時(shí)，如果學(xué)生對(duì)suggest的用法不熟悉。也可通過(guò)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)檢索，最終寫(xiě)出正確而且地道的表達(dá)。

搜素的結(jié)果顯示suggest的用法如下：

1.suggest sb.for推薦（某職務(wù)的合適人選）；

2.suggest that sb(should)do；

3.It’s suggested that…

當(dāng)學(xué)生熟悉了suggest的用法后，就會(huì)更準(zhǔn)確地寫(xiě)出對(duì)網(wǎng)友Rosemary表示建議的句子。如：

(1)I suggest that you should subscribe to a Chinese magazine or newspaperwhich caters to your needs.

(2) It’s suggested that you expose yourself to a Chinese learning environment,like reading more Chinese books and watching Chinese films.

第三段：表達(dá)祝愿。以下是相關(guān)的句型：

1.I’m in firm belief that so long as you are confident and learn from your failure,you can make greaterprogressin yourChinese studies and you’ll surely pass the Chinese Proficiency Test.

2.I strongly believe that you will make it someday in the near future.

3.I hope you will find these suggestions helpful/useful.

4.I hope my advice above will be of use to you.

5.I’m convinced that you can get through and hopefully you’ ll…

（二）運(yùn)用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)輔助寫(xiě)作的作品欣賞

學(xué)生根據(jù)老師及同學(xué)們整理的相關(guān)句型，并且借助語(yǔ)料庫(kù)搜索的相關(guān)信息，對(duì)寫(xiě)作有了充分的準(zhǔn)備，就可寫(xiě)出較高質(zhì)量的文章。

優(yōu)秀習(xí)作一：Dear Rosemary,

I am sorry to hear that you’re currently in low spirits for you failed to pass the Chinese Proficiency Test.I can exactly feel how you feel.But it’s not the end of the world anyway.Pull yourself together,restore your faith and give it a second shot.

三、結(jié)語(yǔ)
