[試題再現(xiàn)]

在緊張的高三備考階段，英語老師為了提高復(fù)習(xí)效率，廣泛征求學(xué)生的意見。假如你叫張華，請(qǐng)根據(jù)以下提示，給英語老師寫封信，表達(dá)你們的需求和建議。

1. 適當(dāng)放慢速度，留出思考時(shí)間；

2. 反復(fù)訓(xùn)練重要、易錯(cuò)知識(shí)點(diǎn)；

3. 指導(dǎo)方法；

4. 減少作業(yè)量以保證質(zhì)量；

5. 給予更多鼓勵(lì)。

在最近的一次高三月考的閱卷過程中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)很多同學(xué)很注重語法以及高級(jí)詞匯的使用，但是忽略了連接詞的使用。下面是我從習(xí)作中選出的兩篇文章。

習(xí)作Ⅰ

Dear Mr. Wang，

Were so pleased that you are willing to share our views.

In the course of the general revision， what we need is solid foundation.

I hope you slow down your teaching，giving us more time thinking. Practice important points to make sure we cant make mistakes again. we need your instruction. Please assign us less homework and give us some encouragement from time to time in order that we can do it more efficiently.

習(xí)作Ⅱ

Dear Mr. Wang，

Were so pleased that you are willing to share our views.

In the course of the general revision， what we need is solid foundation. As you know， we didnt learn well enough in the first two years， so please slow down and make sure we have really mastered something. Besides， we need a little more time to think for ourselves. As for those important points which also make us confused， would you please give us more practice in case we forget？ Meanwhile， we need your instruction， for example， in how to write in natural English. I still have another request： assign us less homework and give us some encouragement from time to time in order that we can do it more efficiently.

從上面兩篇作文來看，習(xí)作Ⅰ沒有運(yùn)用連接詞，整篇文章缺乏連貫性，讓我們讀起來像是句子翻譯，行文不流暢。習(xí)作Ⅱ就大不一樣，這位同學(xué)恰當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用了一些連接詞，如as you know，so，besides，as for，meanwhile，for example。這些詞的運(yùn)用使全文結(jié)構(gòu)緊湊，層次清楚，過渡自然。

行文連貫是英語閱卷老師比較看重的一方面，也是作文得分點(diǎn)之一。怎樣使文章讀起來一氣呵成，朗朗上口呢？很重要的一方面就是適當(dāng)?shù)厥褂眠B接詞。

下面我們來看看怎樣在作文中巧用連接詞。

一、使用連接詞拓展句子

適當(dāng)?shù)厥褂眠B接詞會(huì)幫助我們打開思路，拓展我們所要表達(dá)的內(nèi)容，使內(nèi)容更加豐富。

例1 寫作要點(diǎn)：與老師和諧相處的好處，師生關(guān)系對(duì)你成長(zhǎng)的影響。

一般表達(dá)法：

My teacher has had a strong effect on my personality. Good relationship between teachers and students is worthwhile for everyone to cherish.

加上連接詞的表達(dá)法：

My teacher has had a strong effect on my personality， such as being helpful and considerate， which enables me to grow up healthily. Therefore， good relationship between teachers and students is worthwhile for everyone to cherish.

例2 寫作要點(diǎn)：虛假?gòu)V告給生活帶來的影響。

一般表達(dá)法：

There are more and more advertisements on TV misleading viewers to believe something wrong.

加上連接詞的表達(dá)法：

But there are more and more advertisements on TV misleading viewers to believe something wrong. Especially some food advertisements， they are bad for our health.

二、使用連接詞過渡

除了拓展句子以外，連接詞還能夠更好地展示句子和段落之間的內(nèi)在邏輯關(guān)系，承上啟下，使行文連貫。

例3 寫作要點(diǎn)：社會(huì)發(fā)展，人口擁擠，地球干涸，節(jié)約用水。

一般表達(dá)法：

With the development of society， the earth is becoming more crowded and people are making the best use of water. There are more droughts across the world now. If we have no sense of saving water，we will die out without water.

加上連接詞的表達(dá)法：

As a result， with the development of society，the earth is becoming more crowded and people are making the best use of water. Whats worse， there are more droughts across the world now. In addition， if we have no sense of saving water，we will die out without water.

例4 寫作要點(diǎn)：如何保護(hù)視力。

一般表達(dá)法：

Relax our eyes after reading for a long time，when reading something， we should make sure were in the perfect light， which can do good to our eyes. I advise that everyone should have enough sleep， and we can thus keep fit.

加上連接詞的表達(dá)法：

First， Relax our eyes after reading for a long time， for example， looking out into the distance or just looking into the sky. At the same time， when reading something， we should make sure were in the perfect light—neither too strong nor too weak， which can do good to our eyes. Finally， I advise that everyone should have enough sleep，and we can thus keep fit.

三、連接詞的分類和運(yùn)用

1. 表示并列的連接詞：as well （as）， and，or，also，both ... and， not only ... but （also）。如：

This will do lot of harm not only to their Chinese learning but also to their future English learning.

2. 表示轉(zhuǎn)折或?qū)Ρ汝P(guān)系的連接詞：but，however，while， whereas， otherwise， on the other hand。如：

Some of us taught some drivers and conductors English， while others cleaned buses.

3. 表示讓步關(guān)系的連接詞：in spite of， despite， although/though/as， even if， no matter+what。如：

Helpful as it was at that moment， it would gradually weaken the swans living ability.

4. 表示因果關(guān)系的連接詞：so， thus，therefore，as a result （of）， so/such ... that，on account of。如：

The noise was so loud that I couldnt go on studying.

5. 表示解釋說明的連接詞：that is （to say），in other words，believe it or not， to tell you the truth。如：

In other words， I love my hometown and the people there.

6. 表示舉例的連接詞：for example/instance，take ...for example，such as，as follows，and so on。如：

However， there are still some problems， such as water and air pollution and heavy traffic in rush hours.

7. 表示時(shí)間順序的連接詞：now， at present， recently， meanwhile， finally， the moment。如：

After that I went to No. 6 Middle school of Dalian and graduated this summer.

8. 表示遞進(jìn)關(guān)系的連接詞：besides， whats more， in addition （to）， more importantly。如：

Whats more， some statues of famous people will be set up to encourage us to work harder.

9. 表示起始的連接詞：first of all， to begin with， in my opinion， according to， as you know。如：

In my opinion， Jiangcheng should develop its economy scientifically.

10. 表示總結(jié)的連接詞：in short， in brief， in a word， in conclusion， in general， generally。如：

In short， the students have not arrived at any agreement yet.
