Step I Lead in and warming up(5′)
教師活動(dòng): Showing pictures and asking questions.

設(shè)計(jì)目的:通過(guò)設(shè)問(wèn),激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣及參與性;通過(guò)圖片,讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)相關(guān)單詞,了解各類(lèi)食物對(duì)人體的功能。
Step II Pre-reading (3′)
Today we are going to read the story about Wang Pings and Yong Huis running restaurant. Now look at the title and the pictures and guess what it will be about.

學(xué)生活動(dòng): 根據(jù)標(biāo)題、圖片及問(wèn)題,猜測(cè)故事大意及寫(xiě)作意圖。

教師活動(dòng):教師用投影儀展示出文章框架。
Part 1 Wang Peng is worried because his restaurant is not as full as it usually is.
Part 2 He follows his friend to a newly opened restaurant which is very popular.
Part 3 Worried, he does some research to win his customers back.
學(xué)生活動(dòng):快速瀏覽課文,找尋主題句,概括大意。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀及段意概括的能力。
2.Careful reading (16′)

(2)訓(xùn)練學(xué)生英語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。
