        一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容與分析

        本單元的話題是“描述人物的外貌”,在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中有著廣泛的應(yīng)用。Section A 1a-1c 是本單元的開(kāi)篇,它通過(guò)一些描述性的形容詞及各種人物圖片,要求學(xué)生通過(guò)對(duì)人物身高、體重、頭發(fā)等重要特征的學(xué)習(xí)最終達(dá)到能夠生動(dòng)、形象地描述人物肖像的目的。同時(shí),教師借助“任務(wù)型”教學(xué),通過(guò)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、寫(xiě)、練等一系列教學(xué)活動(dòng),充分利用多媒體輔助教學(xué),創(chuàng)設(shè)更多、更完善的情景,為學(xué)生提供更多真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐機(jī)會(huì),并形成正確的審美觀,切勿以貌取人。同時(shí)在小組活動(dòng)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作意識(shí)和團(tuán)隊(duì)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)意識(shí)。

        二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

        1. 語(yǔ)言知識(shí)目標(biāo):

        ①學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)描述人物外貌的詞匯:curly, straight, tall, (of) medium height, thin, heavy;

        ②熟練掌握詢問(wèn)人物外貌的句型及描述身高、體重、發(fā)型等句型。

        2. 語(yǔ)言技能目標(biāo):

        ①學(xué)會(huì)從不同方面、不同角度描述人物外貌;

        ②學(xué)會(huì)簡(jiǎn)單地表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)和好惡。

        3. 情感態(tài)度:

        通過(guò)實(shí)踐讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的樂(lè)趣,通過(guò)小組活動(dòng)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作意識(shí)并形成正確的審美觀,切勿以貌取人。

        四、教學(xué)步驟

        Step I Leading-in

        T: Class begins! Good morning, boys and girls!

        S: Good morning, Miss Liu.

        T: Do you have any good friends?

        S1: Yes.

        T: Can you say something about them?

        S1: Yes. My friend Tom is handsome and Lily is friendly.

        (Then the teacher asks another three students to answer the questions like this.)

        T: We can describe ones look from three parts: hair, build and height. First, lets learn how to describe ones hair.

        (Show a picture of a girl with long hair.)

        T: The girl has long hair. Read after me, long hair.

        Ss: Long hair. Long hair. Long hair.

        (Students read after the teacher and then they read the phrase one by one.)

        (Teach the other new words such as curly hair, short hair and straight hair in the same way.)

        T: We can also use two words to describe ones hair. Look at the picture. She has long straight hair.

        T: Different people have different heights. Look at the picture of three boys. The boy Bob is only 158cm tall, so we can say he is short. Read after me, short, S-H-O-R-T, short.

        Step VIII Practice the words.

        ① Work on 1a on page 49.

        T: Now turn to page 49. Look at 1a. Match the new words with the pictures as quickly as you can.

        T: Check the answers.

        ②Match the pictures with the words.

        T: Now take out the pictures and the word list. Work in group of four. Put the pictures next to the word.

        (Students put the pictures next to the words by working in a group. When they finish, they put up the paper on the blackboard. Ask one student to come to the blackboard to do it.)

        (Give the students some pictures and a word list before class.)

        五、說(shuō)明及反思

        本節(jié)課圍繞人物“外貌”為話題展開(kāi)教學(xué)活動(dòng),通過(guò)對(duì)人物身高、體重、頭發(fā)等重要特征的學(xué)習(xí)來(lái)達(dá)到能夠生動(dòng)、形象地描述人物外貌的目的。教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)在于熟練地掌握相關(guān)的單詞和重要的句型。教學(xué)的難點(diǎn)在于綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言來(lái)描述人物外貌及培養(yǎng)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確捕捉聽(tīng)力材料中信息的能力。下面就談一談在教學(xué)中教師對(duì)聽(tīng)說(shuō)課中 “說(shuō)”和“聽(tīng)”的處理。

        (一)聽(tīng)說(shuō)課之“說(shuō)”

        眾所周知,語(yǔ)言輸入是語(yǔ)言輸出的前提,沒(méi)有大量的語(yǔ)言輸入就無(wú)法實(shí)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)言輸出。因此,教師在本節(jié)課的教學(xué)中采用以下幾步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí):

        1.分層次處理生詞。本節(jié)課描述人物外貌從三方面入手,即頭發(fā)、身高、體型,在教授單詞時(shí)不是一次性全呈現(xiàn),而是分三段呈現(xiàn),每次呈現(xiàn)單詞后,緊跟對(duì)話練習(xí),三講三練。講授頭發(fā)的描述詞時(shí),由一詞修飾頭發(fā)到兩詞修飾頭發(fā),并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生總結(jié)規(guī)律,巧記描述頭發(fā)的形容詞順序。在講授有關(guān)身高的形容詞時(shí),用一張同年齡段的3個(gè)男孩的照片當(dāng)例子,使學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容一目了然。

        2.全員操練語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)。本單元話題為“外貌”,對(duì)外貌準(zhǔn)確描述的口語(yǔ)輸出能力是建立在對(duì)相關(guān)的詞匯及句式的掌握上。詞匯和句式要做到能上口,必須要經(jīng)歷一個(gè)操練的過(guò)程。在本節(jié)課中,對(duì)學(xué)生的訓(xùn)練充分,在講授新單詞時(shí),采用領(lǐng)讀、齊讀的方式,讓所有學(xué)生熟練發(fā)音。在句型的操練中,有師生對(duì)話,有生生對(duì)話,有小組內(nèi)的鏈條式對(duì)話,學(xué)生參與度廣。學(xué)生只有做到有效參與,才能真正地投身于學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)之中。

        3.設(shè)計(jì)真實(shí)語(yǔ)言交際活動(dòng)。學(xué)生要學(xué)會(huì)在真實(shí)的情境中成功地進(jìn)行交際,教師要設(shè)計(jì)真實(shí)語(yǔ)境讓學(xué)生在做中學(xué)。在本節(jié)課的任務(wù)中,設(shè)計(jì)了班級(jí)要開(kāi)家長(zhǎng)會(huì),而教師不認(rèn)識(shí)大多數(shù)家長(zhǎng),請(qǐng)學(xué)生幫忙在組內(nèi)調(diào)查學(xué)生的父母的外貌的調(diào)查活動(dòng)。在調(diào)查活動(dòng)中,不僅強(qiáng)化了語(yǔ)言知識(shí),而且讓學(xué)生體會(huì)到“做中學(xué)”的樂(lè)趣。

        4.形式多樣的活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)。聽(tīng)說(shuō)課設(shè)計(jì)的活動(dòng)要以學(xué)生的興趣為出發(fā)點(diǎn),創(chuàng)設(shè)貼近學(xué)生生活的情景,使活動(dòng)具有可操作性。在單詞練習(xí)中,設(shè)計(jì)了貼圖的游戲,讓學(xué)生把人物圖像與單詞匹配粘貼,在游戲中,學(xué)生進(jìn)一步鞏固了單詞。并且以小組為單位完成人物特征,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作意識(shí)。

        (二)聽(tīng)說(shuō)課之“聽(tīng)”

        聽(tīng)說(shuō)課教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)前要對(duì)聽(tīng)力任務(wù)進(jìn)行研究和分析,根據(jù)學(xué)生的實(shí)際水平、認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)和需求設(shè)計(jì)聽(tīng)力活動(dòng),聽(tīng)力活動(dòng)的有效性是活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)的關(guān)鍵。

        1.聽(tīng)前活動(dòng)的目的及活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì):聽(tīng)前活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)的目的是引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)入聽(tīng)力狀態(tài),為更好地聽(tīng)做好各方面的準(zhǔn)備,降低聽(tīng)力理解的難度。在本節(jié)課中,聽(tīng)前讓學(xué)生觀察圖片,回答 How many people are there in the picture? Where are they? 通過(guò)學(xué)生的識(shí)圖回答問(wèn)題,對(duì)聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了預(yù)測(cè),圖畫(huà)配合幫助學(xué)生理解聽(tīng)力材料的內(nèi)容,使教學(xué)情景化。

        2.聽(tīng)中活動(dòng)的目的及活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì):聽(tīng)中教學(xué)目的是理解語(yǔ)篇承載的信息和感知新語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)在實(shí)際情景中的運(yùn)用。在本節(jié)課中,學(xué)生通過(guò)聽(tīng)力材料,快速捕捉信息點(diǎn),找到圖中人物。同時(shí)教師還根據(jù)聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容的需要,學(xué)生語(yǔ)言知識(shí)和技能的發(fā)展設(shè)計(jì)了填寫(xiě)表格的任務(wù),泛聽(tīng)和精聽(tīng)相結(jié)合,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。

        3.聽(tīng)后活動(dòng)的目的及活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì):為了進(jìn)一步感知和操練所學(xué)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)并在一定情景中運(yùn)用所學(xué)語(yǔ)言知識(shí),以形成新的輸出能力。在本節(jié)課的聽(tīng)力后,教師設(shè)計(jì)了讓學(xué)生再次描述Amy 朋友的外貌,使學(xué)生在真實(shí)情景中完成任務(wù)。endprint
