水是世界各大城市都希望擁有的要素。昆明—春城—希望提升其作為西南亞旅游目的地的地位。因此，城中心西南長(zhǎng)8km、寬4km的草海湖區(qū)稱為了有發(fā)展?jié)摿Φ牡攸c(diǎn)。這個(gè)城市發(fā)展概念與總體規(guī)劃結(jié)合的項(xiàng)目，定位于將草海進(jìn)行生態(tài)開(kāi)發(fā)，以使昆明成為一座湖上之城。

該地區(qū)的設(shè)計(jì)有其特殊的城市地理背景、特定的空間功能配置，而不僅僅是要做一個(gè)特別的可持續(xù)發(fā)展休閑區(qū)。

昆明草海片區(qū)的開(kāi)發(fā)概念和總體規(guī)劃。其關(guān)鍵概念包括：

1）目的地：將該片區(qū)打造成一個(gè)昆明居民和游人希望前去休閑的地方，并創(chuàng)造多重因素促使他們?cè)賮?lái)；

2）水：通過(guò)將滇池引入市區(qū)，將城市與水重新連接起來(lái)。創(chuàng)建新的水岸線、島嶼、生態(tài)濕地和明渠，并提升既有河流的品質(zhì)；

3）明珠成串：將湖岸開(kāi)發(fā)建設(shè)成一條連貫的湖岸，由一個(gè)個(gè)形態(tài)各異的湖濱地帶串連而成，每個(gè)地帶均各有其鮮明特色；

4）連接：用多種方式將這些地帶連接起來(lái)，既有內(nèi)部的連接，也有對(duì)外的連接（包括視廊、小路、游路、道路、游船）；

5）“熱點(diǎn)”：打造一個(gè)繁華熱鬧的城市濱湖灣，以一條充滿休閑風(fēng)情的漫步大道和高開(kāi)發(fā)強(qiáng)度的水岸環(huán)繞。

草海一直被視為一個(gè)內(nèi)湖，較少引人注目，低調(diào)的自然地貌沿著時(shí)而狹長(zhǎng)的地段形成了連續(xù)有趣的濱水區(qū)域。這個(gè)項(xiàng)目為昆明提供了充滿活力頗為迷人的城市水景，也從生態(tài)上令該地區(qū)能夠良性發(fā)展?！酰ㄈ~揚(yáng) 譯）

Water is the element, which cities worldwide are longing to integrate with. Kunming－the city of eternal spring－is wishing to strengthen its position as a travel destination in southwest Asia.Therefore the 8km long and 4km wide Caohai lakearea southwest of the city center offers attractive development potential. The project is an entry for an invited international masterplanning competition.The goal was to develop the Caohai lake ecologically and make Kunming a city on the lake.

The design of this district is based on the special geographical background of the city and a specific spatial-programmatic configuration that transcends the district into a unique sustainable leisure zone.

The key concepts are:

1) Destination: create a place, where the residents of Kunming and tourists want to go for leisure, and create a multitude of reasons to make them come again.

2) Water: reconnect the city to water by bringing the lake into the city, create a new shoreline, islands, ecological wetlands and open canals, and revaluate the existing rivers.

3) A string of pearls: develop the lakeshores as a continuous string of diverse places with distinct characters catering for different target groups.

4) Connect: create a network by means of multitude of connections between these places,both internally and externally－views, paths,routes, buses, light rail and ferries

5) 'Hotpot': create a busy new urban center around a marina bay at the southwest entrance to Kunming with leisure promenades and a dense waterfront development

Caohai has been conceived as an internal lake with carefully placed highlights and the more low-key nature-based areas form a continuously interesting shoreline on a sometimes very narrow stretch of land along water. The project offers Kunming both the active and attractive urban waterfront and allows for an ecologically sound development of the area. □
