By her first-hand experience, this article have traced back in historically the span of the trying outand exploring course in study and copying Dunhuang Murals by all members of the Fine Art Instituteof Dunhuang Academy who contributed theirs ideas and theirs strength to the discovery, conservationand research of the unique art treasure of Mogao Grottoes Dunhuang, and further on, this article dis-cusses that there was the need to have an authentic voice in dealing with questions of doing reproduc-tions and study, and copying these wall-paintings and learning the handed down heritage in skill andthe artistic creativity, the creative activity in copying on a scientific foundation under the present newacademic situation.

The saintly appearance of Ox-headed Mount in Khotan and the auspicious image of Buddha relatedto Ox-headed Mount in Khotan began to be seen in Dunhuang Murals in the High-Tang Period (705-780A. D. ) and then continuing to be presented to Mid-Tang period to Later-Tang, the Five Dynas-ties, the Song Dynasty. Those Paintings served as an important evidences to cultural exchanges be-tween Dunhuang and Khotan then.
