走進(jìn)中學(xué)英語(yǔ)課堂，我們能聽到許多設(shè)計(jì)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、科學(xué)，內(nèi)容豐富而且活動(dòng)形式多樣的聽說課、閱讀課和語(yǔ)法課。在這些課堂上，教師按照準(zhǔn)備好的教案一環(huán)緊扣一環(huán)地實(shí)施教學(xué)計(jì)劃，學(xué)生則眼要觀，耳要聽，嘴要說，手要寫，腦要思；一堂課下來，學(xué)生普遍感到疲憊。如果在一學(xué)期、一學(xué)年，甚至更長(zhǎng)的學(xué)習(xí)階段里一成不變地重復(fù)這種教學(xué)模式，或多或少會(huì)降低學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣。筆者設(shè)計(jì)了一種英語(yǔ)歌曲欣賞課型，既能讓學(xué)生學(xué)得很輕松，也能讓學(xué)生學(xué)有所獲。這種課型不是我們常規(guī)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的主流課型，而是適當(dāng)穿插在常規(guī)教學(xué)之間，用來調(diào)節(jié)學(xué)生緊張情緒、增加學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的興趣、陶冶學(xué)生人文和美學(xué)情操、溝通師生情感的一種特殊課型。筆者在所教班級(jí)試行幾次后效果甚佳，深受學(xué)生喜愛。下面是其中的一個(gè)范例：

英語(yǔ)歌曲欣賞課

I．欣賞歌曲：《草帽歌》(The Straw Hat)

1．讓學(xué)生在輕松的氣氛中學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)；

2．讓學(xué)生了解背景知識(shí)在閱讀理解中的重要性；

3．對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行情感教育。

設(shè)計(jì)目的：通過解釋，使學(xué)生能夠基本理解歌詞的表層含義，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生深層理解；對(duì)學(xué)生的回答不予評(píng)價(jià)，為背景知識(shí)的解釋留有余地。

The Straw Hat was the themesong lr a Japanese film named TheProof of Man(《人證》)，whichdiscloses the dark side of humanbeing ’s nature．One day，during theSecond World War，a group OfAmerican soldiers were insulting(侮辱)a Japanese girl in the streetwhen a black American soldiercame up and stopped them．Then，the girl and the black soldierhvedtogether and gave birth to a blackboy．The war was over，the boywent to America with hiS tither．Asthe boy grew up，he couldn't helpmissinghiS mother．The boy arrivedin Japan and found out who hismother was．However，his mother，who Was very famous inJapan，re-fused to recogmze and accept him，because she WaS afraid it would dOharm to her good fame(名譽(yù))andherfamily．ShekiHedhersonin or．der to protect herself and her fami-ly. Step5．小結(jié)

The words of the song arevery beautiful．It uses a lot ofmetaphors(隱喻)to express theson's feelings and emotion．For in-stance，the “oldstrawh at”refers

to the love of amother；the“wind”implies the killing；“blowing ithigheraway”implies the love be-tween mother and son was lostforever．AU these metaphors make us think deeply.

讓學(xué)生分組討

論以下問題。

設(shè)計(jì)目的：使學(xué)生意識(shí)到博覽群書的重要性，以及重視對(duì)背景知識(shí)的理解和掌握，并使學(xué)生糾正課后只重視做單選題的不良學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣。

Step7．學(xué)唱歌曲

1)逐句教學(xué)生演唱歌曲；

2)再次播放歌曲或教師自己演唱。

Step8．主題升華

1)討論題：What will hap-pen if there is no love in thisworld?

2)要求學(xué)生自由回答：

3)教師總結(jié)：Love is natural for human beings，and the bridge for people to get along with oneanother．Without love，other feel-ings，suchasenvy(嫉妒)，suspicion(猜疑)，hatred(仇恨)，quarrel，misunderstanding，killing，fighting，war，revenge(報(bào)復(fù))，andsOOnwillcontrol people's minds，May ourworld be full of love．

設(shè)計(jì)目的：通過讓學(xué)生討論有關(guān)問題使這堂英語(yǔ)歌曲欣賞課的主題升華，讓學(xué)生受到一次良好的情感教育。

課后筆者就下列問題在所教的兩個(gè)班級(jí)的109名學(xué)生中進(jìn)行了問卷調(diào)查。

通過分析學(xué)生的調(diào)查問卷和參閱相關(guān)的理論依據(jù)，筆者認(rèn)為，歌曲欣賞課在學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過程中可以起到以下作用：

1．緩解壓力。歌曲欣賞課自始至終是在音樂欣賞和文學(xué)欣賞中進(jìn)行的。實(shí)踐證明，美妙動(dòng)聽的音樂可以使學(xué)生心情舒暢，從中得到美的享受，調(diào)節(jié)和松弛情緒，也可以使學(xué)生的注意力更為集中。

2．增加興趣。歌曲欣賞課的新穎性能引起學(xué)生的好奇心，它的創(chuàng)造性能調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情，它豐富的美學(xué)元素能激勵(lì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣。

3．陶冶情操。歌曲欣賞課所選用的歌曲無(wú)論是歌詞還是旋律應(yīng)是經(jīng)過教師心挑選的。就這堂課而言，《草帽歌》揭露了人性的陰暗面，同時(shí)也贊美了人性美好的一面；音樂、美學(xué)和情感教育對(duì)學(xué)生的情操升華極有幫助。

4．溝通感情。在歌曲欣賞課的實(shí)施過程中，教師始終是在一種寬松和愉快的狀態(tài)下授課，它有利于師生情感交流；教師的演唱和教唱會(huì)給課堂營(yíng)造歡樂、和諧、融洽的氣氛。
