英語，作為一門語言，主要用于與他人交流。因此，學會說一口流利的英語尤為必要。這期，我們將學習一些提高英語口語的好方法。

●Listen to English more

Studies show that listening is the most frequently used lanɡuaɡe skill by students,which takes up 40% to 50% of the total time spent on communication.When babies learn their first language,they listen first.If you want to improve your English speaking,spend more time listening.Listening to English news,speeches and talk shows is very useful,and of course,watching some sitcoms without Chinese captions is also a good choice.

●多聽英語

研究表明，聽是學生最常用的語言技能，占據(jù)總交流時長的40%至50%。當嬰兒學習他們的第一語言時，他們首先會傾聽。如果你想提高你的英語口語，你應花更多的時間聽。聽英文新聞、演講和脫口秀非常有用，當然，看一些沒有中文字幕的情景喜劇也是一個不錯的選擇。

●Imitate native speakers

English native speakers speak English with proper pronounation and accent.So you can choose your favorite video to imitate the speakers in it.Listen to a sentence,pause the video,repeat the sentence and record yourself.Then compare the original video with your recording and notice what you need to improve.Remember — try your best to make yourself sound like a native speaker.

●Learn phrases,not just single words

Maybe you know lots of words,but fail to combine them in the right order.You probably need to focus on learning phrases instead.By learning phrases,you don’t need to memorize ɡrammatical rules,you will naturally feel what the right grammar is.In this way,you can remember the right expressions more easily.

●學習短語，而非單個單詞

也許你知道很多單詞，但不能按正確的順序?qū)⑺鼈兘M合。你可能需要專注于學習短語。通過學習短語，你不需要記住語法規(guī)則，你會自然而然形成語感。通過這種方式，你可以更輕松地記住正確的表達。

●Change your vocabulary

Actually,some expressions we’ve learned in English classes or on our textbooks are not usually used in oral English by native speakers.To express the same meaning,they may choose different words.For example,we use “danɡerous” to describe a place which may be harmful,but native speakers use “sketchy”instead.Also,they use “kinda” instead of “a little”,and “so,really or super” to replace “very”.Therefore,when you’re watchinɡ an English video,you can take notes of some slangs or words and phrases that are usually used in oral English to make your spoken English more native.

●選用不同的詞

實際上，我們在英語課或教科書上學到的一些表達方式，母語為英語的人通常不會在口語中使用。為了表達相同的含義，他們可能會選擇不同的單詞。例如，表述一個地方有危險時，我們通常用單詞“dangerous”來表述，而以英語為母語的人則使用“sketchy”這一個單詞。此外，他們用“kinda”代替“a little”，用“so”“really”或“super”來代替“very”。因此，當你看英語視頻時，你可以記錄一些英語口語中使用的俚語、單詞和短語，以使英語口語更地道。

●Practice with a foreign conversation partner

To get better at speaking,you have to practice more.It’s better to have a real conversation.You can make a friend with a native speaker and chat with them as much as possible so that your conversation partners can notice your mistakes at once and help correct them.

●與外國人對話

為了說好口語，你必須多練習。最好進行真正的對話。你可以與以英語為母語的人交朋友，盡可能多與他們交聊，以便他們能立即注意到你的錯誤并幫助糾正。

●Speak by yourself

If you fail to find a foreign conversation partner,you may speak by yourself.You may talk about what you’re doing or share your opinions on a topic by using what you’ve learned.If you have any difficulties expressing yourself,you can look up in the dictionary and learn the expressions.

●說給自己聽

如果你找不到外國交流小伙伴，你可以自己說給自己聽。你可以說你正在做的事，或者用學到的知識分享你對某個主題的看法。如果你在表達方面遇到任何困難，可以查字典并學習字典里的表達方式。
