        The Problems,Causes and Countermeasures of Children Seeking Teachers’ Attention

        【Abstract】Disruptive children are not all bad children,some just to seek attention from the teachers.The paper aims to understand how young children seek teacher attention,and put forward countermeasures.

        Seeking attention refers to any excessive and unnecessary behavior of children seeking attention from a teacher in a verbal or non-verbal way.But,we find that many children take inappropriate ways of expression which are not intentionally“sabotage”,who are classified as“problem children”.Therefore,it is of significance to correctly understand the problem of children and guide them to take a positive way to seek teachers attention.

        1.Problems

        1.1 Behavior

        Firstly,aggressive behavior refers to childrens frequent and serious physical assault or verbal assault and insult to others.Secondly,disruptive behavior is a kind of behavior that children deliberately make noise or disturb the normal progress of collective activities through other interference ways.Thirdly,children deliberately damaging materials or equipment in the classroom are destructive behaviors.

        1.2 Language

        Swearing.When he is very angry,he will express her bad feelings in offensive language,such as bad words,with profanity.Humming and hawing is a way of communicating that uses an abnormal tone of voice,and a complaint type to speak,but usually a nasal tone to speak.

        1.3 Emotional

        First,due to the age characteristics,some children still dont know how to respond to the things they like or dont like correctly,they have to express their emotions through losing their temper to cause adults concern.Secondly,crying is a normal way of communication for young children.If children communicate in an appropriate way but dont get enough response,they might cry.

        2.Causes

        Firstly,excessive or absent attention to children.Now the family structure is almost“six big and one small”,which invisible in the formation of a kind of dependence on the childs parents,finally,the child will become very self.And,we just give them an external comfortable material environment,but lack of positive attention to their internal psychological needs.In order to get the attention,children take some inappropriate negative ways.

        Secondly,due to lack of communication skills with peers and teachers,they dont know what kind of response is accepted by the society.

        Lastly,unreasonable environment arrangement and material placement.The activities designed in the classroom are too simple or too difficult,which do not accord with the characteristics of childrens age and psychological development.

        3.Countermeasures

        Firstly,the teacher should actively shift their role consciousness,update their concepts of education,with respect to accept care relationship with each child care love each child,and give positive attention on young childrens activities and evaluation,let children grow up happily in a safe,happy and loose spiritual environment which is full of care,warmth,respect and support.

        Secondly,through family and kindergarten? cooperation,teachers and parents work together to find and improve their own parenting and education behaviors,which may strengthen childrens response to some problematic behaviors,such as swearing,losing temper and so on.

        At last,we should pay attention to the guidance of childrens social interaction,take special training measures to improve their communication skills,teach children how to participate in other peoples games,teach them how to accept others and how to express positive feelings to their peers.
