英語綜合拓展課綜合滾動出現(xiàn)所學(xué)的相關(guān)話題語言,可發(fā)展學(xué)生綜合語言運用能力,促進(jìn)學(xué)生心智發(fā)展。它在小學(xué)英語課堂教學(xué)中是否切實可行、實施效果彰顯與否?本文以廣州市小學(xué)英語五年級下冊Module 4“Travel”的教學(xué)為例進(jìn)行說明。
本節(jié)課的課型為綜合拓展課,教學(xué)滾動出現(xiàn)與旅游相關(guān)的話題、詞匯等語言知識,如交通工具、日期月份、季節(jié)天氣、活動短語、食物地點等。教學(xué)點還包括正確使用will及be going to進(jìn)行一般將來時態(tài)的表達(dá),讀懂與課文難度相當(dāng)或稍高的有關(guān)旅游安排的文段,閱讀有關(guān)旅游的文章,整合將來時態(tài)及與本話題相關(guān)的語言點來表述一個詳細(xì)的旅游攻略等。下面,筆者對教學(xué)過程的設(shè)置及策略運用進(jìn)行評析。
一、課例展示
1. 導(dǎo)入
Hello, everyone!Lets meet an old friend, Ben. (PPT圖示)Today, he will have an English lesson for us.呈現(xiàn)微視頻(微課復(fù)習(xí)本單元知識點)
評析:以微課形式讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)一般將來時的重點句子、交通出行方式及動詞短語,既形式新穎,又呈現(xiàn)了語言知識、活躍課堂氣氛,為下階段的學(xué)習(xí)搭建知識鏈。
2. 復(fù)述課文與練習(xí)
Lets meet Ben again, this is Bens first trip to Beijing, please look at the mind map and try to retell Bens first trip to Beijing.
評析:讓學(xué)生根據(jù)思維導(dǎo)圖,復(fù)述Unit 8 “Bens first trip to Beijing”的課文內(nèi)容,學(xué)會提取寫作信息,為后續(xù)寫作提供有力的知識遷移儲備。
練習(xí)1:Find out key words in the passage.
練習(xí)2:Look at the mind map and try to retell English teacher Ms Guans trip.(見下圖)
評析:重構(gòu)的文本與Unit 8課文情景相似,順利搭建好教材內(nèi)與外的過渡、知識點的遷移。
3. 閱讀廣州旅游指引(文本以handbook的形式出現(xiàn))
Now Ms Guan flies back to Guangzhou, you know, Guangzhou is a very beautiful city, there are many good places to visit, lets visit it. Please read “Guangzhou Travel Guide”, find out the sentences and write a plan:

(1)Guangzhou Attractions
The Pearl River is about 1243 miles long and is the third longest river in China. It goes through Guangzhou City. Its the “Mother River” of Guangzhou. In the evening, you can take a boat trip on the Pearl River. You can also enjoy the night view of the city.
TV Tower is now the second tallest tower in the world. We call it “Slim Waist”. We can take photos and enjoy the night of Guangzhou there. At the top, visitors have a birds-eye view of the whole city. The tower becomes a new city landmark and one of the Eight New Sights of Guangzhou.
Baiyun Mountain is a park with natural hills and water. We can go there to watch birds and go sightseeing there. After that, we can have noodles at the top of it. During the holiday, many people like to take a walk, take exercise and enjoy the most view of Baiyun Mountain there.Its a good place for holiday.

評析:閱讀廣州旅游指引,讓學(xué)生積累語言、收集信息之后,學(xué)會表述旅游攻略。

5. 設(shè)計旅游小冊子

評析:創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,完成旅游小冊子設(shè)計,綜合拓展學(xué)生寫、說、畫、演等能力。
二、教學(xué)方法分析
1. 在導(dǎo)入階段,巧妙利用微視頻,高效歸納和梳理本模塊的語言點及旅游話題的各要素,為學(xué)生進(jìn)一步拓展鋪平道路。
2. 教師對比分析、建立聯(lián)系,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)思維導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述內(nèi)容,學(xué)會提取寫作信息,為后續(xù)寫作提供有力的知識遷移儲備。同時指導(dǎo)學(xué)生在讀中做記號,掌握閱讀技巧,關(guān)注思維導(dǎo)圖形式的知識架構(gòu),培養(yǎng)口頭表達(dá)能力,順利搭建教材內(nèi)與外的過渡。
3. 重構(gòu)閱讀文本“Guangzhou Travel Guide”,讓學(xué)生讀懂與課文難度相當(dāng)或稍高的有關(guān)旅游安排的文段,關(guān)注更多的旅游信息。文本內(nèi)容以handbook的形式對廣州旅游進(jìn)行介紹,提供了興趣的支點,讓學(xué)生領(lǐng)略獨特的廣州風(fēng)情,學(xué)會為自己的生活和旅游做計劃。
4. 教師重構(gòu)文本語言知識,創(chuàng)設(shè)情景、師生共建閱讀、寫作空間。閱讀廣州旅游指引、整合將來時態(tài)及本話題相關(guān)的語言點來完成《廣州一日游》文章寫作,讓學(xué)生積累語言、收集信息,學(xué)會表述旅游攻略,發(fā)展綜合語言運用能力,促進(jìn)心智發(fā)展。
5. 能力目標(biāo)方面,滾動、合作梳理知識,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運用本模塊相關(guān)語言知識進(jìn)行表達(dá)的能力、分工協(xié)作能力、信息搜索及加工處理能力等。
