        Abstract: Vocabulary is one of the three elements of the language, construction materials of language. The word is the basis for learning English, so the word teaching of English Teaching in a very important and crucial one annulus, but certain words often become the one big obstacle of students learning English, so teachers should use effective methods, stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning English. However, how to enhance the vocabulary to enable students to master a certain number of words is the important task of teaching English.

        1、The purpose and Significance of the research.

        (1) Vocabulary teaching is not only to make students learn words of sound, form, meaning, and its main purpose is to help students use the language effectively.

        (2)Second language acquisition theory: A lot of recognition vocabulary is to develop basic language skills, for beginners, vocabulary important than the accuracy of the structure. Scholars who study the teaching of listening all know, as a knowledge base of English words in the hearing the importance of culture. They believe that vocabulary size in one way determines the level of listening comprehension. It is no exaggeration to say that restricting foreign language vocabulary learning efficiency is the most important factor.

        二、The Problems Existing in the Teaching Vocabulary English in Schools.

        1、 The teacher teach word isolated and speak too much。There exists a common big problem in the vocabulary teaching, which is isolated to teach words, and isolated on the previous vocabulary teaching .This kind of teaching takes up too much time, so that the students memorize a heap of disconnected the meaning and usage . The pronunciation of the word will appear, in the course of time, although the students remember a lot of words and phrases, but the knowledge they learned is still "the dumb English".

        The teacher should stimulate the students' interest in learning English. the students are full of curiosity and great interest, when they start to learn English for the first time, but with the time going on, more and more difficulties are existed, the students gradually lost the fresh vigor and enthusiasm , and the interest in learning starts to get weak. sometimes It is not easy to remember a word, and after a few days ,the words the students learned will be forgot. In this repeated situation which will greatly affect their interest in learning English, in the course of time, memorize the words for the students will becoming a headachy thing, they would not want to spend too much energy and time on the word memory.

        1、The pronunciation and spelling teaching。Word pronunciation and spelling words in the presence of base, are aspects of differences between the first elements. In the lexical tone and form of teaching, the teachers should pay attention to the unification and combination of tone and shape through certain teaching methods, so that students not only can master the pronunciation through the form. But also they can memorize the form for the sound. Therefore, students of English vocabulary learning activities must follow the rules: pay attention to the learning of pronunciation, spelling, meaning and usage.

        2、The meaning and usage of teaching。Teaching the English vocabulary should make the students master the meaning and usage of the vocabulary besides the pronunciation and spelling.         As we all known, not only do pupils have good memory and ability to imitate, but also they have very high curiosity and thirst for knowledge, according to the characteristics of their ages and personality psychology, in teaching the word. On the one hand, the teachers should use more different kinds of teaching methods to develop the students four skills requesting of listening, speaking, reading, writing and the good sense of English language. On the other hand, the students are active in mind and they are willing to remember the new vocabulary with the help of all kinds of materials.

        1、Visual teaching。Visual teaching mainly through objects, pictures, gestures, movements, facial expressions, etc. to enable students to build an image of thinking, can greatly improve the students memory effectively, which is the most commonly used as a teaching tool.The students mind is characterized by visual image thinking. It is very important that the vocabulary teaching should be connected with the vivid image of the visual object teaching aids besides of the real language situations in the classroom..

So in the daily teaching, if we put words into songs which are short and concise, strong and full of rhythm, melody, it is very suitable for children 's psychological characteristics, It can train students English intonation and rhythm of reading and speaking it can also help studentsmemorize and recite the words, in this way, we can make our students benefit a lot from all kinds of aspects, so the word ballad to learning is wise.

        3、Guessing teaching。Riddles are deeply loved by children because of its rich taste, rich in content, user-friendly,. Therefore, using a riddle to render the word, can give the student a very deep impression, and it is easy to remember. At the same time it also can cultivate the students' imagination, develop the students intelligence and get the pleasure from the teaching.

        4、Game teaching method。Playing games are each pupils favorite activities, in teaching words, if the teacher use the games, it will make the dull atmosphere in the classroom a brisk, and will make the boring words become interesting, besides, it can stimulate the students' memory of desire and potential, arouse students' interest in memory.
