Dhoni Suites -The COMO Space And Individuality

沿著主島南側(cè)淺灘上蜿蜒的木棧橋，酒店僅有的33間水屋深入海上，最基本的房型是面積達(dá)75平米的多尼船套房。這是全馬爾代夫唯一以當(dāng)?shù)貪O船為靈感的水屋，船身由新西蘭松木建造，覆蓋拱形的茅草屋頂，船首進(jìn)門，船尾露天甲板有直接通向大海的扶梯，供客人隨心所欲地下海浮潛。

落地大窗朝向大海，打通了室內(nèi)和室外的界限。純白是室內(nèi)配色的主調(diào)，搭配柚木地板和家具的原木色和欄桿少許的藍(lán)色，與沙灘的白和大海的藍(lán)融為一體。房間由自然通風(fēng)、空調(diào)和高櫞天花上的吊扇三種方式通風(fēng)，將悶熱隔絕在室外。打開窗簾，一望無際的大海靜靜的在眼前。

值得注意的是，COMO Cocoa 島于2002年開業(yè)，輕描淡寫的極簡風(fēng)格沿用至今，看起來依舊恰到好處。因?yàn)榇蠛：吞炜找呀?jīng)足夠多彩，尤其在天亮和入夜時(shí)分，設(shè)計(jì)上簡潔清爽，給大自然留出了足夠的空間。

房間內(nèi)免費(fèi)提供島上自制的大瓶純凈水和每天換新的新鮮水果，手電筒、雨傘和第二天的漲潮天氣預(yù)告也十分貼心?？头康那鍧嵃l(fā)生在客人去主島就餐或戶外活動(dòng)時(shí)，再回房一切整潔一新。

Along the curving wooden walkways over the lagoon at south side of the main island， the 33 overwater suites are far into the water. The basic room type is 75 sqmdhoni suite inspired by dhoni boats used by local fishermen， which is no where else to be found in Maldives hotels. The structures combine New Zealand pine with Kajan thatched roofs. The door opens at front and at the tail end an open deck equipped with stairs and handrails directly into the sea for snorkeling at anytime.

The inside and outside space merges on the horizon-side， with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The interior is set in white tone， matched with teak flooring and original wood furniture， blue handrails blend in with the white sand and the blue sea. The room is ventilated by natural air， air-conditioning and a fan from the high ceiling， blocking the heat outside.

Since its opening in 2002， COMO Cocoa Island is deliberately restrained using a simple yet sophisticated mix of the contemporary and indigenous. Since the ocean and the sky is colorful enough especially at dawn or toward evening， this simple yet brisk design has given enough space for the nature.

The room provides complementary self-made large bottles of water and fresh daily fruit， flashlight， umbrella and weather and tide forecast of the next day. Room cleaning happens when guests go out for meal on the main island or outdoor activities and the room is cleaned up when guests return.
