【Abstract】The ecology civilization construction is a systematic project， which needs the joint efforts of the entire society. Strengthening ecological civilization education of college students is an important component of it. Ecological civilization education for college students lies not only in the inculcation of environmental protection knowledge， but also in the turning the ecological civilization idea into their thinking and behavior.

College students are the backbone of the ecological civilization construction.The way and method of ecological civilization education for college students are diverse.The most important thing is to innovate the way of university education， optimize the social environment and strengthen the comprehensive quality of College Students.

One. Innovation of university education mode

First， take full advantage of the classroom teaching and the extracurricular learning. Analyze the ecological crisis from different angles and levels and strengthen ecosystem consciousness of College Students. Make them understand the importance of ecological civilization construction truly and shoulder their corresponding responsibility.

Second， universities should create an atmosphere for the protection of the environment actively through community activities， radio propaganda and social practice， and so on.

Finally， universities can also incorporate the ecological consciousness into students major study. Universities are the main land of ecological civilization education. Innovate the way and method of education， and the ecological quality of College Students will be strengthened

Two. Create a good external environment for the ecological civilization education

The ecological civilization construction is based on a good social environment. Therefore， a good social environment is necessary for college students to train their ecological civilization consciousness and practice ability.

First， give full play to the medias function of the public opinion propaganda and guidance. Carry out different forms and levels propaganda of ecological civilization to create a good social atmosphere and give full play to the role of media， such as the radio， the television， the Internet.

Second， carry out various forms of ecological civilization education activities in the whole society. Organize ecological civilization education activities on Arbor Day， Labor Day， World Environment Day and other important festivals.This improves creating a sound public opinion environment and a strong cultural atmosphere which can attract people to participate in the construction of ecological civilization actively.

Third， arouse the whole society enthusiasm adequately to participate in the ecological civilization construction.Ecological civilization education in universities reflects the feature of specialization more. The popularization of ecological civilization education need efforts from all parties of government， establishments， universities and other social organizations.

Three. Strengthen the comprehensive quality of College Students

The cultivation of ecological civilization consciousness and practical ability of college students is related to many factors.The key is to improve the students synthesis quality. Therefore， students must pay more attention to strengthening the comprehensive quality and the practice ability.

First， strengthen study the alphabet of ecological civilization and perfect the knowledge system.Students should learn courses， attend lectures and symposia actively， to enrich their knowledge and theoretical attainment of the ecological civilization.

Second， participate in social practice actively and improve the practical ability of the ecological civilization construction. Students not only need to learn the knowledge of environmental protection， but also further strengthen the practice ability of ecological civilization. They should promote more people to participate in the practice of the ecological civilization construction， to improve the construction of ecological civilization.

Third， further strengthen ecological and moral cultivation. Students must pay attention to setting up the moral ecology view， adhere to good habits and standardize their behavior to unify the ecological civilization consciousness and ecological civilization behavior.

With the development of human society， college students are playing an increasing important role in the entire national economy and social development.This group is becoming a significant force in promoting the all-round progress of the society. The college education even affects the direction of the states development. The level of college students ecological civilization quality directly impacts the ecological civilization construction.Therefore， it is essential to promote the ecological civilization education of the college students.
