Born in Dongyang County， Zhejiang Province in 1960， Li Xianghong graduated from Peoples Liberation Army Academy of Art and School of Arts Peking University successively. Now he is a member of China Artists Association， professor of Guangxi Normal University and Vice-President of Calligraphy Research Institute， Academy of Military Sciences etc. He has devoted himself to the research and creation of art for many years and achieved great success. He has held many solo exhibitions and published several collections of paintings. The CCTV has ever reported his achievements.

李項(xiàng)鴻1960年出生于浙江東陽，1978年入伍，先后畢業(yè)于中國人民解放軍藝術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)系、北京大學(xué)藝術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)學(xué)專業(yè)研究生班?，F(xiàn)為中國人民解放軍軍事科學(xué)院美術(shù)書法研究院副院長、研究員，大校軍銜。中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，廣西師范大學(xué)客座教授，清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)理論研究與書畫創(chuàng)作高研班導(dǎo)師，九三學(xué)社中央書畫院藝術(shù)委員。

多年從事美術(shù)創(chuàng)作、教學(xué)和研究工作。擅畫山水兼作花鳥，格致秀逸渾厚，主張藝為心得，德立畫品，注重筆墨表現(xiàn)與生活體驗(yàn)，追求“天人合一”之境界。繪畫作品多次被選入國內(nèi)外專業(yè)美術(shù)展并獲獎(jiǎng)。多次舉辦個(gè)人畫展，曾應(yīng)邀在中央電視臺書畫課堂欄目、清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院、國防大學(xué)、廣西師范大學(xué)等授課。出版有《當(dāng)代中國美術(shù)名家·李項(xiàng)鴻山水畫集》《中國美術(shù)家全集·李項(xiàng)鴻作品集》《中國山水畫名家技法·項(xiàng)鴻寫意山水畫藝術(shù)》《國畫瓷韻》《李項(xiàng)鴻畫集》等。1999年被中國文聯(lián)評為“中國百杰畫家”之一。2007年被評為“當(dāng)代30位最具學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值與市場潛力的（山水）畫家”。2016年清華美院書畫高研班開設(shè)“李項(xiàng)鴻山水畫創(chuàng)作專項(xiàng)研修班”，CCTV4國際頻道“遠(yuǎn)方的家”欄目播出李項(xiàng)鴻專訪《古樟樹下文脈深》。
