本期學刊關注了一批相當吸引眼球的近期展事，其中大多展覽都融合了新媒體的元素。其中既有景育民、岳敏君、曲健雄、趙半狄這樣的名家的近期展覽，有塞萊斯特·布謝-穆日諾這樣的外國大師的個展，也有像趙趙這樣新銳藝術家的最新展覽。

本期的《熱點人物》張國龍先生長期從事綜合材料創(chuàng)作的研究。他所創(chuàng)作出的《生命》《黃土》《黑白》《方圓》《陰陽》《天地》等一系列氣勢恢宏的當代作品，色料材料的結合如交響樂的高低音碰撞，沉重悲愴而充滿表現(xiàn)性；那放蕩不羈的刀筆、微妙復雜的肌理以及疾速噴灑的線條是藝術家生命激情的展現(xiàn)。而在極具厚重感與視覺張力的畫面里嵌入穩(wěn)定、剛性的三角、矩形等幾何形狀，也是其創(chuàng)作的一種經(jīng)典布局。

本期還集中了一批相當出色的新藝術、新媒體研究論文，黃丹麾先生的《身體與圖像》、王婭蕾的《新媒體藝術：中國當代藝術的第三次轉型》以及姚風采訪宮林的《藝術與科技融合的起點》等文章，都從各自不同的角度上積極探討了當代藝術的多樣化可能，這些成果讓我們對今后的藝術世界充滿了更多的好奇和期待。

[ Editorial ]

This issue focuses on a number of recent eye-catching exhibitions, most of which incorporate elements of new media. Among them are recent exhibitions of such famous artists as Jing Yumin, Yue Minjun, Qu Jianxiong, Zhao Bandi, the solo exhibition of the foreign artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, and the latest exhibition of the young prominent artist Zhao Zhao.

Hotspot Figures of this issue is about Mr. Zhang Guolong, who has long been engaged in the research of mixed media creation. His magnificent contemporary creations includeLife,Loess,Black and White,Square and Circle,Yin and Yang,Heaven and Earth,etc. The combination of pigment and material is likened to the clashing high and low notes played in a symphony, which are so heavy, sad and richly expressive; his free-hand strokes, delicate texture and swift lines speak of his passion as a fervent artist. Moreover, he inserts stable, rigid triangles, rectangles, and other geometrical shapes in pictures filled with a sense of firmness and visual tension, which betrays a typical composition in his creation.

There are a batch of excellent new art and new media research papers in this issue. Mr. Huang Danhui’s “Body and Image”, Wang Yalei’s “New Media Art: the Third Transition of Contemporary Chinese Art,” and Yao Feng’s “An Interview with Gong Lin: the Starting Point of Integrating Art and Science—Theory and Practice of New Media Art”discuss possibilities of contemporary art from different perspectives, which fill us with curiosity and expectation of the future world of art.
