ATHLETICS WITH THE SAME ROOT
Though their inspirational roots may seem similar, acrobatics and gymnastics branched out and forged their own paths.

Flying Trapeze VS Men's Rings
Similarities:Both require coordination and good upper body strength. Both sports are performed with the air of hanging ropes.
Differences:
(1)Men's Rings is, obviously, a discipline for men only, whereas the fl ying trapeze can be performed by more than one performer - both men and women - and thus requires the element of compatibility.
(2)Gymnasts fi nish a complete set of movements using two little wooden rings while fl ying trapeze artists do all kinds of adventurous leaps, grabs and hanging movements with either a large ring or a pendulum swing.
空中飛人 VS 體操吊環(huán)
相似點(diǎn):都考驗(yàn)臂力和協(xié)調(diào)性,且都是借助懸掛的繩索完成表演動(dòng)作。
相異點(diǎn):
(1)體操吊環(huán)運(yùn)動(dòng)僅限于單人男子體操,而雜技吊環(huán)的表演者不限男女,甚至還可以多人表演,對(duì)配合度要求很高。
(2)體操吊環(huán)運(yùn)動(dòng)是在兩個(gè)小木環(huán)的借助下在空中完成一整套體操動(dòng)作,而空中飛人是利用蕩秋千的方式完成各種驚險(xiǎn)的飛躍、穿梭及懸掛動(dòng)作。
Foot Juggling VS Ball Gymnastics
Similarities: Both require leg fl exibility and balancing skills. Both use the ball to highlight the beauty of the female body.
Differences:
(1) Foot jugglers can use many balls at the same time. The balls are usually light and bouncy, whereas gymnasts only
perform with one heavy ball.
(2) Foot jugglers are sometimes supported by racks or stands, and so need better balancing and fl exibility skills.
蹬球VS 球操
相似點(diǎn):都用到了腿部協(xié)調(diào)及平衡技巧。都利用球的流動(dòng)和旋轉(zhuǎn)來(lái)展現(xiàn)肢體美。
相異點(diǎn):
(1) 雜技中蹬的球可以四五個(gè),且很輕,有彈性。球操中只有一個(gè)球,且球比較重。
(2) 雜技蹬球有時(shí)會(huì)利用架子來(lái)支撐,并且更注重平衡和靈活性。
同源之藝
雜技與體育,雖有十分相近的淵源,卻像兩棵朝著不同方向生長(zhǎng)的大樹(shù),表現(xiàn)出千差萬(wàn)別的姿態(tài)。
Wirewalking VS Balance Beam
Similarities: Both require good balancing skills, and both are performed by doing various kinds of performing movements on the rope/beam.
Differences:
(1) Ropes are more unstable thus making it harder to keep balance.
(2)The rope's softness may vary, however, the balance beam has one unifi ed fi rmness.
(3)The balance beam is an indoor activity, while wire walking can be performed outside, even between mountains.
走鋼絲 VS 平衡木
相似點(diǎn):都考驗(yàn)平衡力,且都是在繩索/橫木上做出各種表演動(dòng)作。
相異點(diǎn):
(1) 繩索比平衡木更難、更危險(xiǎn)、更不穩(wěn)定。
(2)繩索有軟硬不同規(guī)格,平衡木有統(tǒng)一規(guī)格。
(3)平衡木在室內(nèi),而走鋼絲的場(chǎng)地不受限制,可以在室外,甚至大山里。
Acrobatic Lifting VS Aerials
Similarities: Both require supporting strength; and both are performed with music and exciting to watch. Differences:
(1)Acrobatic lifting makes full use of jujitsu, and is usually performed cooperatively.
(2)Acrobatic lifters use props, while gymnasts don't.
雜技托舉 VS 技巧托舉
相似點(diǎn):都考驗(yàn)支撐力量,都配有音樂(lè),觀賞性強(qiáng)。
相異點(diǎn):
(1)雜技中的托舉更多利用柔術(shù),常常是多人配合,姿態(tài)多變。
(2)雜技中的托舉可利用其他道具,體操技巧則不可以。
Jujitsu in Water VS Synchronized Swimming
Similarities: Both disciplines involve performing skills in the water; both require the performers to hold their breath while performing somersaults; both are modern and pleasant to watch.
Differences:
(1)Jujitsu in water usually performed by one or two people, which requires better individual skills. Synchronized Swimming is usually performed by two to eight people and thus requires better cooperation.
(2) Synchronized Swimming puts more emphasis on the techniques and skills of the discipline, while Jujitsu in water is more aesthetically pleasing.
水中柔術(shù)VS 花樣游泳
相似點(diǎn):都是水中技巧,都需要閉氣、翻跟頭等。現(xiàn)代感和觀賞性強(qiáng)。
相異點(diǎn):
(1)水中柔術(shù)通常是一至兩人,強(qiáng)調(diào)個(gè)人技巧?;佑斡就ǔJ嵌嗳?,強(qiáng)調(diào)團(tuán)體配合。
(2)花樣游泳強(qiáng)調(diào)技術(shù)動(dòng)作,水中柔術(shù)則更具浪漫氣息。
