        一、整體設(shè)計(jì)思路、指導(dǎo)依據(jù)說明

        《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》提出了新的學(xué)習(xí)方式:“自主學(xué)習(xí)、合作學(xué)習(xí)、探究學(xué)習(xí)。”英語學(xué)習(xí)方式的變革,是實(shí)施新課程最為核心和最為關(guān)鍵的環(huán)節(jié)。課堂教學(xué)中應(yīng)遵循“以學(xué)生為主體,以教師為指導(dǎo),以學(xué)生自主探究為核心”。

        1.運(yùn)用“任務(wù)型”的教學(xué)途徑,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合語言運(yùn)用能力;

        2.突出交際性,在用中學(xué)、在交際中學(xué),啟發(fā)學(xué)生認(rèn)識到學(xué)習(xí)英語的目的在于交流。

        二、教學(xué)背景分析

        (一)教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析

        本單元是以“邀請”為話題開展的教學(xué)活動,學(xué)習(xí)如何正確使用can引導(dǎo)的句子表達(dá)邀請。

        (Can for invitations)

        1a-1c為本單元的導(dǎo)入部分,主要通過邀請別人參加聚會的圖文及聽力活動導(dǎo)入單元話題,要求學(xué)生掌握prepare for an exam,have the flu,help my parents,go to the doctor,meet my friend等短語,學(xué)會使用Can you come to...? Sure,I’d love to./Sorry,I can’t. I have to/must...等句型進(jìn)行有效交際。活動1a主要呈現(xiàn)話題詞匯短語和基本句型,1b通過聽力練習(xí)加深學(xué)生對單元重點(diǎn)句型和詞匯短語的認(rèn)知,1c則要求學(xué)生結(jié)合主題圖內(nèi)容展開問答活動,完成簡單的語言輸出。

        (二)學(xué)生情況分析

        學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)過使用be going to do來談?wù)撐磥淼挠?jì)劃和安排,并已學(xué)習(xí)過have to作為“不得不”的表達(dá)法,因此,學(xué)生在講述拒絕邀請的理由時(shí)遇到的困難不大。相對而言,由于文化差異的因素,學(xué)生在本單元中對英語語言中邀請以及接收、拒絕的交際用語的把握有一定的難度。

        對于交際用語的使用,筆者設(shè)置情景邀請學(xué)生參加喬遷派對,并呈現(xiàn)接收和拒絕的表達(dá)方式;通過聽力給學(xué)生提供真實(shí)的邀請交際模板,讓學(xué)生模仿交際以及語音語調(diào)。在此基礎(chǔ)上讓學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況邀請并回復(fù)各式各樣的活動,熟練運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語言,并最終讓學(xué)生能自如使用交際用語來書寫邀請卡和邀請郵件。

        三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析

        (一)Knowledge goals

        Words:exam,flu,invite,invitation

        Phrases:prepare for an exam,go to the doctor,have the flu,meet friends,help parents.

        Sentence structure:Can you come to my party? Sure,I’d love to./Sure,I’d like to. Sorry,I can’t. I have to...

        (二)Ability goals

        1. To make the students know how to make,accept and decline invitations.

        2. Use have to,must to talk about obligations.

        四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)分析

        Teaching important points:How to make,accept and decline invitations.

        Teaching difficult points:How to refuse others by using the phrases politely.

        五、教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)

        (一)lead in

        Watch a video It’s party time!(如圖1所示),ask students to sing along with it.

        Design statement:At the beginning of the class,the video can arouse the students’interests and their eager to learn English.

        (二)Types of the party

        What kind of parties do you know? What are they?

        The students can learn birthday party,family party,wedding party,barbecue party,Halloween party according to the pictures(如圖2-圖6所示).

        Design statement:To get the students know the culture of foreign countries and to learn how to say different parties.

        (三)Sentences

        I have a new house. It’s beautiful. I’m going to have a housewarming party.I want to invite many people to my party,can you help me?

        Ask the students: How to invite others?

        Write the sentence patterns on the blackboard:

        Can you come to my party?

        Sure,I’d love to./I’d like to.

        Sorry,I can’t. I have to ...

        Sorry,I’m not free. I’m going to ...

        Ask students to go to the teacher’s party. Students can answer the question in real situations.

        Design statement:The teacher provides the students with real situation to lead in the sentence structure.

        (四)Phrases

        If you can’t come to the party,you have to give a reason. I have asked my friends to come,but some of them refused,can you guess the reasons?

        They are the real reasons.(如圖7-圖11所示)

        Use the pictures to learn the phrases:have the flu,go to the doctor,meet friends,help parents,prepare for an exam.

        Design statement:When we use pictures,it’s easy for students to know the meaning of the phrases and remember them.

        (五)Practice on the book(1a,1b)

        Match the phrases with the pictures.(如圖12所示)

        Listen,Sun Ning is going to have a party,how many people can come to his party? Read the name lists:Ted,Tim,Kay,Wilson,Anna.

        (六)Groupwork

        There are some envelopes in my hand. In each of it,there is something special. For example,if you see a concert ticket,one of you in the group should ask,“Can you come to the concert with me?”The other students should answer it by using the sentences we have learnt today.

        The things include:

        movie tickets,plane ticket,swimming glasses,

        the paper-cutofthe Chinese character“喜”,thebaby’s bottle full of candies,a ping-pong ball and so on.

        Ask students to perform their dialogues.

        Design statement:In this way,the students have a chance to practice the language in real situations,and all of them can speak.

        (七)Invitation e-mail

        My families live far away from me. How can I invite them? I can send them an invitation e-mail.

        I wrote an e-mail last night. Please have a look to see if it is good enough.

        Design statement:It takes a long time if we ask the students to write an e-mail. So after the speaking,just ask them to fill in the blanks about an e-mail. They can write and use the words we have learnt today.

        (八)Homework

        Suppose you are having a weekend party,please write an invitation e-mail to invite all your classmates

        and teachers.

        Design statement:After class,students can write down an e-mail by themselves like this. In this way,we can check how much they have learnt and mastered.

        六、教學(xué)反思

        入、復(fù)習(xí)、教授、練習(xí)、聽力、鞏固到運(yùn)用環(huán)節(jié),由易到難,層層遞進(jìn)。每一步都關(guān)注了學(xué)生的配合狀態(tài),隨時(shí)對教學(xué)步驟進(jìn)行調(diào)整,是一堂真實(shí)的課堂。

        (三)創(chuàng)設(shè)了較多的情景,能使學(xué)生在情境中運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識

        由于學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)能力較強(qiáng),教師針對教學(xué)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了拓展,運(yùn)用生活中普遍存在的事物,讓學(xué)生產(chǎn)生聯(lián)想,并運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語言組成對話,小組合作。注重了對學(xué)生語言能力的培養(yǎng)和跨文化交際的理解。

        (四)師生互動、生生互動頻繁

        由于同一批學(xué)生連上了5堂英語課,難免有些疲倦。但是學(xué)生還是能在教師的引導(dǎo)下主動回答問題,完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。教師注重了師生和生生的互動,學(xué)生基本能跟著教師的節(jié)奏參與到課堂中。
