As usual the Italian textile machinery manufacturers have given a positive answer to ITMA ASIA + CITME 2014, where about 110 of them (occupying an overall exhibition space of 4,750 sq. meters) will exhibit, because they strongly believe in the future of Chinese textile industry.
The traditionally good relations between the Italian textile machinery industry and the Chinese customers are testified by the figures concerning the Italian sales in the Chinese market. Nowadays China is the most important export market for the Italian textile machinery industry, with a share of 20% on the total Italian export. In 2013 the Italian exports to the Chinese market reached a value of Euro 327 million.
300 Italian companies and 11,000 employees pay the highest attention to the requests of the textile industry to propose technological solutions that place reduced consumption in energy, water and chemical products at the center of the production process, for a manufacturing cycle that is more responsible and mindful of consumption, while respecting the environment.
The quality of the Italian textile technology is testified by the high number of Countries where the Italian machinery are sold: about 130. In 2013 our exports totalled a value of euro 2 billion, representing 84% of total sales. Asia (with a share of 44%) is the main destination for Italian sales, followed by Europe (37%), Latin America (8%) and North America (7%).
