約旦在保存建筑遺產(chǎn)時，著重強調(diào)實現(xiàn)考古遺址的可持續(xù)發(fā)展和國家歷史古鎮(zhèn)的復興兩者的平衡。約旦皇家航空公司是約旦的唯一航空運營商，因此而成為了該國境內(nèi)的一個重要部分。

線性建筑使得內(nèi)部街道免受陽光直射，形成了類似傳統(tǒng)的阿拉伯“露天市場”的建筑“心臟”。在概念上，一個區(qū)域是“靜態(tài)的”而另一個則是“動態(tài)的“。在北部，靜態(tài)的線性區(qū)域?qū)⒔ㄖ潭ㄓ谝粋€位點，并為將來北區(qū)的任何開發(fā)提供了堅實基礎(chǔ)。南區(qū)則具有相當?shù)谋憩F(xiàn)力并成為該建筑的特征標志。外形酷似一個光滑的空氣動力學性能平面，從西南角位置延伸出來的高架橋 直達穆罕默德·阿里·簡納主干道，因此，在從各個角度看，它都具有地標功能。

The preservation of Jordan’s architectural heritage has emph

asized the importance of achieving a balance between sustainable developments at archaeological sites, whilst revitalizing the countries historic towns. Royal Jordanian Airlines is the sole carrier within Jordan, and is therefore a key component within the country.

The linear buildings shield an inner street sheltered from direct sunlight, which forms the ‘heart’ of the building, similar to the traditional Arabian ‘souk’. As a concept, one block is ‘static’ and the other ‘dynamic’.To the north, the static linear block anchors the building on the site and provides a solid face to any future development to the north. The southern block becomes expressive and is the signature of the building.Resembling the smooth aerodynamics of a plane, the block grows out from the elevated south-west corner of the site growing to a pinnacle as it reaches Mohamed Ali Janah main road creating a landmark feature that will be seen from all approaches to the site.
