A survey of happiness
(長久以來,對持久幸福感的追求,一直是科學家和許多相關(guān)調(diào)查關(guān)注的目標。但是什么使我們真正感到快樂?)
Scientists have found that the people who are happy and positive(積極的) about life can live longer. Happiness is the key to better health and longer lifepans(長壽).
A British study surveyed(調(diào)查) members of 40,000 families across the country. It found that eating a family meal at least three times a week is the key to happiness, because it helps build a strong bond(紐帶) between parents and their children.
Research has also shown that happiness begins at 50. Stress, anger and worry fade(褪去) after 50. Women are also reported to suffer greater stress, worry and sadness at all ages.
Money is very important to some people, but is not the key to hapiness, according to other studies.
Cycle ball
If you like bicycling as much as you like playing with a ball and can?蒺t seem to decide between the two sports, you may want to consider cycle ball. Also known as radball, the game was invented in 1983 by German laborers(工人) who wished to play polo(馬球),but could not afford horses.
Played in an indoor court, cycle ball is similar(相似) to soccer in many ways—the aim is to score as many goals as possible, and only the goalkeeper is allowed to touch the ball.
But it?蒺s not allowed to use legs. Instead, players have to guide the ball across the court, using the front wheels of their bicycles or with their heads.
In fact,if a player even touches the floor with his feet during the 14-minute game,it is considered(被認為) a foul(犯規(guī)) and the other team gets a free kick. Also, unlike soccer, the teams are small. Each of them has just two players.
