Wang Tongshun was born in Zhenjiang in 1957. He has devotedhimself to the study of calligraphy for over 40 years， and ownedsubstantial achievements and widely favorable comments. He is aprofessor of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology， a memberof China Calligraphers Association， the national senior painter， the honorpresident of Lv Fengzi Scholar Research Society， and the president ofZhenjiang Calligraphy and Painting Research Society. His calligraphyworks and papers have been chosen into national level exhibitions andacademic seminars for many times， and many of them were collectedby the universities and museums home and abroad. The TV special，Sailing on the Art Ocean-Calligrapher Wang Tongshun， wasbroadcasted by CCTV， Jiangsu TV and Zhenjiang TV. He has alsopublished some books， such as Wang Tongshun Running Script SongPoems， Wang Tongshun Calligraphy Collection， Wang TongshunCouplet， and so on.
