“てえで”被國內(nèi)網(wǎng)友巧妙地譯為“貼貼”。在日語本義中，“貼貼”作為形容詞，本身就帶有“喜歡的”“親密的”等含義，其動詞用法又有“湊近，靠近”的含義，和日語本義相當(dāng)契合。兩種用法合二為一，賦予了“親密”這一含義以動作的趨向和姿態(tài)，拓展了表達(dá)功能。比如，我們在看言情劇時，常常會看到有彈幕讓男女主人公“貼貼”。這就是在用“貼貼”表示男女主人公之間的親密關(guān)系，也表達(dá)了網(wǎng)友對這一對“屏幕情侶”的喜愛和支持。在日常生活中，人們同好友或伴侶聊天時，可以用“貼貼”來表示關(guān)系的親近；在對方傷心難過時，也可以用充滿暖意的“貼貼”給予安慰和支持，這時的“貼貼”就趨近于動詞的虛擬動作用法了。
