《義務(wù)教育英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(2022 年版)》(以下簡(jiǎn)稱《課標(biāo)(2022 年版)》)在英語課程理念中明確指出踐行學(xué)思結(jié)合、用創(chuàng)為本的英語學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)觀。英語學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)觀的核心思想可以歸納為三點(diǎn):在體驗(yàn)中學(xué)習(xí)、在實(shí)踐中運(yùn)用、在遷移中創(chuàng)新。學(xué)習(xí)理解、應(yīng)用實(shí)踐和遷移創(chuàng)新三類活動(dòng)并非局限于語法教學(xué)、詞匯教學(xué)、話題討論等環(huán)節(jié),可適用于所有的文本學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。本文結(jié)合新版課標(biāo)的課程理念與教學(xué)實(shí)際,以冀教版“人與自我”和“人與社會(huì)”主題范疇下My Family教學(xué)為例,對(duì)My Family單元幾個(gè)子主題教學(xué)活動(dòng)片段的有效設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)行解讀。
基于單元主題下的學(xué)習(xí)理解類活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì),教學(xué)目標(biāo)的確定要以落實(shí)核心素養(yǎng)為方向,以新版課標(biāo)倡導(dǎo)的教育教學(xué)理念為指導(dǎo),縱覽單元子主題群內(nèi)容,設(shè)計(jì)積極、有效、有趣的課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng)。My Family單元包含Talk about their families等語言知識(shí)和語言技能,單元各子主題之間相對(duì)獨(dú)立,又緊密聯(lián)系。課堂教學(xué)中要求學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)的新知進(jìn)行Team work and pair work,旨在讓學(xué)生積極參與listening/reading/speaking/watching/writing 等學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng),并能順利完成課后作業(yè)任務(wù)。
【片段一】
Li Ming’s Big Family子主題是本單元第一課時(shí)教學(xué)內(nèi)容,以教授與家人相關(guān)的詞匯開始課堂教學(xué)。借助Li Ming’s Family Tree 學(xué)習(xí)father/mother/grandfather/parent/uncle 等詞匯,學(xué)會(huì)正確使用“This is my...”句型展示家譜樹。
T:(Think and talk)Do you see any difference between Chinese and Western names for various family members?
S1:In China,the father’s mother and the mother’s mother are called different names.

T:(Design and say)Yes.Next let’s design your family tree and write their names by yourself.Then pair work,practise the dialogue with your partner,pointing to members of your family tree.
【解析】Design family tree and say 任務(wù)屬于學(xué)習(xí)理解類活動(dòng),教師借助插圖和教材文本設(shè)計(jì)Think and talk 環(huán)節(jié),幫助學(xué)生分辨中英文不同角色、不同稱呼的文化差異。為了進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于參與、積極嘗試的學(xué)習(xí)觀,教師還可以設(shè)計(jì)一張Teacher’s Family Tree,運(yùn)用“This is me.This is...”介紹家庭為學(xué)生作示范演示,幫助學(xué)生順利完成Design and say 活動(dòng)。學(xué)生在真實(shí)體驗(yàn)中感知語言知識(shí)的價(jià)值,這樣的課堂教學(xué)才會(huì)變得更有吸引力。
《課標(biāo)(2022年版)》明確指出英語課程承擔(dān)著培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)和發(fā)展學(xué)生思維能力的任務(wù)。在課堂教學(xué)中,教師要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生圍繞主題,借助圖片和關(guān)鍵詞,通過描述、推理、判斷、內(nèi)化等應(yīng)用實(shí)踐活動(dòng),使學(xué)生基于文本信息開展多層次的語言輸出,以達(dá)到鞏固新知的目的。

What Do They Do?子主題是本單元第三課時(shí)教學(xué)內(nèi)容,通過課堂學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能聽懂、會(huì)說、認(rèn)讀并書寫work/doctor/hospital/nurse/worker等詞匯;能認(rèn)讀、理解并運(yùn)用基本句型結(jié)構(gòu)“My...is a...He/She works at...He/She goes to work...”進(jìn)行對(duì)話交流。

【解析】Make a dialogue 屬于應(yīng)用實(shí)踐類活動(dòng),教師以自身為例引入關(guān)于職業(yè)與出行方式的學(xué)習(xí),將教學(xué)文本與真實(shí)生活瞬間融合,喚起了學(xué)生Think and talk 的學(xué)習(xí)欲望。在表達(dá)訓(xùn)練環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計(jì)兩個(gè)語言交際活動(dòng),一是Choose and answer 給學(xué)生充分獨(dú)立思考的時(shí)間,二是Make a dialogue 同伴分享給學(xué)生展示交流的空間。像這樣圍繞子主題設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)活動(dòng),為整體單元主題表達(dá)進(jìn)一步串聯(lián)了語言知識(shí),不僅減少了單純學(xué)習(xí)語言產(chǎn)生的枯燥感,還激發(fā)了學(xué)生對(duì)單元主題意義表達(dá)的興趣。
小學(xué)英語課堂中,遷移創(chuàng)新更多的是基于文本的適度拓展、深化和想象。教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生將所學(xué)的知識(shí)與技能從文本情境遷移到生活情境中,能結(jié)合自己的認(rèn)知和生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)創(chuàng)造性地解決新的問題,并對(duì)文本中的人或事作出合理、多元的評(píng)價(jià)。

【解析】After-school Question 是課堂的延續(xù),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生遷移思考。在課堂教學(xué)中,學(xué)生借助圖文能很輕松地運(yùn)用“What do they like to do?They like to...”和“What does he/she like to do?He/She likes to...”進(jìn)行問答,教師根據(jù)學(xué)生掌握情況設(shè)計(jì)“What do you like to do when you get old?”“What is good for us to do in our lives?”等幾個(gè)問題,讓學(xué)生找到關(guān)愛家人的切入點(diǎn),換位思考體會(huì)家人為家庭的付出,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)愛家人、懂得感恩。

Maddy’s Family 子主題是本單元第六課時(shí)教學(xué)內(nèi)容,這篇故事文本圖文并茂,以Maddy 為第一人稱介紹自己家庭成員等信息,內(nèi)容上融合了本單元的重點(diǎn)知識(shí)。

【解析】換個(gè)角度復(fù)述故事是教師在學(xué)生了解故事后設(shè)計(jì)的Tell the story 小組活動(dòng)。小組成員各選擇一個(gè)自己喜歡的人物,通過不同人物、不同角度在小組內(nèi)以第一人稱介紹Maddy’s family,不僅能確保大多數(shù)學(xué)生真實(shí)體驗(yàn)Everyone is important,順利完成復(fù)述故事任務(wù),還可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生換位思考、互相理解和關(guān)愛的家庭觀。
教師通過作業(yè)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行語言思維訓(xùn)練、鞏固語言知識(shí),需要科學(xué)合理地設(shè)計(jì)有吸引力、有深度、有內(nèi)涵、有梯度的作業(yè)內(nèi)容,給學(xué)生足夠的時(shí)間和空間去思考、去體驗(yàn)、去應(yīng)用、去實(shí)踐。My Family單元作業(yè)整體目標(biāo)是通過作業(yè),學(xué)生能夠仿照范例,以圖文結(jié)合的方式在語境中向同伴介紹自己的家庭和家庭成員,感悟親情,準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)互敬互愛、互幫互助。以本單元第六課時(shí)Maddy’s Family 子主題的作業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)為例,明確作業(yè)要求和建議時(shí)長(zhǎng),分別設(shè)計(jì)了學(xué)習(xí)理解類、應(yīng)用實(shí)踐類、遷移創(chuàng)新類等作業(yè),如Read and recite、Retell and paraphrase、Research interviews、Story acting、Serial story、Poster making、Outside reading 等。以主題為引領(lǐng),以故事語篇為依托設(shè)計(jì)本課作業(yè),旨在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)用結(jié)合,提升語言綜合運(yùn)用能力。
《課標(biāo)(2022 年版)》強(qiáng)調(diào)英語學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)觀要將語言、文化、思維以及促進(jìn)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)能力的發(fā)展緊密結(jié)合。因此,教師在教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)與實(shí)施上,要以主題為引領(lǐng),以語篇為依托,通過學(xué)習(xí)理解、應(yīng)用實(shí)踐和遷移創(chuàng)新等活動(dòng),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生整合性地學(xué)習(xí)語言知識(shí)和文化知識(shí),進(jìn)而運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)、技能和策略解決實(shí)際問題,達(dá)到在教學(xué)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生核心素養(yǎng)的目的。
