作為一名新華社外籍員工，通過(guò)參與二十大的報(bào)道，我感觸頗多。

二十大宣布了中共帶領(lǐng)中國(guó)走向全面現(xiàn)代化新征程道路上的系列決策，以及為建成富強(qiáng)、民主、文明、和諧、美麗的社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化強(qiáng)國(guó)將要采取的舉措。

毋庸置疑，40多年來(lái)中國(guó)實(shí)現(xiàn)的持續(xù)快速發(fā)展舉世矚目。自從2006年來(lái)到中國(guó)，我見(jiàn)證了中國(guó)社會(huì)方方面面的飛速變化，包括基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)和環(huán)境等各領(lǐng)域，這些變化不僅造福了中國(guó)人的生活，也對(duì)在華外國(guó)人的生活產(chǎn)生了積極影響。

過(guò)去幾年，中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)快速增長(zhǎng)，目前經(jīng)濟(jì)規(guī)模位居世界第二，占全球經(jīng)濟(jì)總量的18.5%，中國(guó)在國(guó)際舞臺(tái)上的政治和經(jīng)濟(jì)地位不斷提升。經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展也體現(xiàn)在了中國(guó)人民的生活水平上，數(shù)以千萬(wàn)的人口脫離絕對(duì)貧困，一個(gè)14億多人口的國(guó)家全面建成小康社會(huì)，這是人類歷史上前所未有的奇跡。

這些年，我見(jiàn)證了中國(guó)從“中國(guó)制造”到“中國(guó)智造”，再到“高質(zhì)量發(fā)展”和供給側(cè)結(jié)構(gòu)性改革的階段性轉(zhuǎn)變，目睹了中國(guó)制造業(yè)躍居世界領(lǐng)先水平。

我還親歷了北京獲得世界上其他城市未曾有過(guò)的榮耀，那就是先后舉辦2008年夏季奧運(yùn)會(huì)和2022年冬季奧運(yùn)會(huì)。奧運(yùn)會(huì)前后，中國(guó)大力發(fā)展體育事業(yè)，推出“健康中國(guó)”戰(zhàn)略等相關(guān)舉措，為改善人民健康作出顯著貢獻(xiàn)。

中國(guó)電子商務(wù)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)購(gòu)物產(chǎn)業(yè)的驚人發(fā)展，讓我的生活模式發(fā)生了很大轉(zhuǎn)變?，F(xiàn)在通過(guò)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)我們幾乎能買到所有商品，網(wǎng)購(gòu)除了提供具有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的價(jià)格，也為人們節(jié)省了大量時(shí)間和精力。

得益于中國(guó)更大程度對(duì)全球市場(chǎng)開(kāi)放并增加從國(guó)外市場(chǎng)的進(jìn)口，一些符合外國(guó)人需求的商品越來(lái)越多地出現(xiàn)在市場(chǎng)上。數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2021年中國(guó)進(jìn)口額達(dá)17.37萬(wàn)億元，增長(zhǎng)21.5%，2021年上海進(jìn)博會(huì)成交額達(dá)726.2億美元。

過(guò)去這些年，中國(guó)在基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)方面取得重大發(fā)展，包括大量地鐵、橋梁和道路建造。2006年我剛來(lái)中國(guó)的時(shí)候，北京還只有4條地鐵線，而現(xiàn)在地鐵網(wǎng)覆蓋了北京的大部分地區(qū)，首都地鐵網(wǎng)絡(luò)的擴(kuò)建工作仍在推進(jìn)。

我也親歷了中國(guó)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的深刻變革，5G技術(shù)讓中國(guó)網(wǎng)絡(luò)發(fā)展達(dá)到世界先進(jìn)水平，帶動(dòng)了高鐵、航空、港口網(wǎng)絡(luò)的巨變。截至2021年12月，中國(guó)網(wǎng)民規(guī)模已增長(zhǎng)到10.3億人，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)普及率達(dá)73%，超過(guò)全球平均水平。

新冠肺炎疫情暴發(fā)以來(lái)，中國(guó)高度有組織性的應(yīng)對(duì)機(jī)制和精準(zhǔn)防控措施讓全世界為之驚嘆。中國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層將人民的健康放在首位，堅(jiān)定不移地抗擊疫情，竭盡全力防止疫情在國(guó)內(nèi)蔓延。中國(guó)還主動(dòng)研發(fā)新冠疫苗并與多國(guó)展開(kāi)合作，幫助他們生產(chǎn)疫苗，讓疫苗成為全球公共產(chǎn)品。

中國(guó)在改善環(huán)境方面的成績(jī)也值得稱道。近年來(lái)，中國(guó)的空氣質(zhì)量顯著改善，國(guó)家重視提高森林覆蓋率和綠化率、保護(hù)和開(kāi)發(fā)濕地、開(kāi)發(fā)自然保護(hù)區(qū)和保護(hù)瀕危物種。同時(shí)，中國(guó)沒(méi)有忽視氣候問(wèn)題和環(huán)境保護(hù)，力爭(zhēng)建成清潔低碳、安全高效的能源體系，提出實(shí)現(xiàn)碳達(dá)峰和碳中和兩個(gè)目標(biāo)，中國(guó)這些努力凸顯了負(fù)責(zé)任的大國(guó)形象，體現(xiàn)了對(duì)人類命運(yùn)共同體理念的深入踐行。

阿拉伯國(guó)家和中國(guó)的合作源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng)，可以追溯到古絲綢之路的開(kāi)端，雙方之間架起了友誼的橋梁。歷經(jīng)光陰荏苒，阿中交往始終蓬勃向前。

阿拉伯世界憑借獨(dú)有的歷史遺產(chǎn)和地理位置，成為中國(guó)國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平2013年提出的共建“一帶一路”倡議的重要組成部分。除阿拉伯國(guó)家聯(lián)盟外，已有19個(gè)阿拉伯國(guó)家與中國(guó)簽署共建“一帶一路”合作文件。

當(dāng)前，中阿合作發(fā)展迅猛，中國(guó)是阿拉伯國(guó)家最大的貿(mào)易伙伴。2021年中阿雙邊貿(mào)易額約3300億美元，比2020年增長(zhǎng)37%，而中國(guó)石油需求近一半來(lái)自阿拉伯國(guó)家。中阿雙方在數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)、5G通信網(wǎng)絡(luò)、航天等新領(lǐng)域，以及在貿(mào)易、能源等傳統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域的合作都取得了豐碩成果。

我相信，隨著中國(guó)在科技、工業(yè)、環(huán)保等各領(lǐng)域不斷進(jìn)步，結(jié)合阿拉伯國(guó)家在資源、地理位置和市場(chǎng)等方面的優(yōu)勢(shì)，中阿合作將迎來(lái)更廣闊的發(fā)展空間。

中國(guó)，一個(gè)偉大國(guó)家，一個(gè)古老文明，人類文明長(zhǎng)河里的重要支流。我祝愿?jìng)ゴ蟮闹袊?guó)繁榮進(jìn)步、不斷成功，朝著實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的目標(biāo)穩(wěn)步邁進(jìn)，成為世界和平的支柱、發(fā)展的先鋒、合作的橋梁，成為人類社會(huì)不懈奮斗、自強(qiáng)不息的典范。

As a foreign employee of Xinhua News Agency,I feel a lot after participating in the sessions of the 20th CPC National Congress.

The CPC announced a series of decisions to lead China to a new journey of comprehensive modernization and measures to build a prosperous,democratic,civilized,harmonious,and beautiful modern socialist country.

Undoubtedly,China’s sustained and rapid development in the past 40 years has attracted worldwide attention.Since coming to China in 2006,I have witnessed rapid changes in all aspects of Chinese society,including infrastructure,economy,community,and environment.These achievements have beneflted not only Chinese people but also foreigners in China.

China’s economy has increased in the past few years,ranking second in the world,accounting for 18.5% of the global economy.As a result,China’s political and economic status on the international stage has continuously improved.Economic development is also reflected in the living standards of the Chinese people.Tens of millions of people were lifted out of absolute poverty,and a country with a population of 1.4 billion has built a well-off society in an all-round way,which is an unprecedented miracle in human history.

In recent years,I have witnessed China’s phased transformation from “Made in China” to “Intelligent Manufacturing in China,” then to “High-quality Development” and supply-side structural reform,and witnessed China’s manufacturing industry leaping to the world’s top level.

I also witnessed Beijing winning the glory that no other city in the world has ever had,i.e.,the 2008 Summer Olympic Games and the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.Before and after the Olympic Games,China vigorously developed the sports program and launched the “Healthy China” initiative and other related measures,signiflcantly improving people’s health.

The tremendous development of E-commerce and online shopping in China has dramatically changed my lifestyle.

Nowadays,we can buy almost all commodities through the internet.Moreover,online shopping provides competitive prices and saves people time and energy.

Thanks to China’s grand opening up to the global market and the increase in imports from foreign markets,some commodities that were not accessible to foreigners in China are now available.The data shows that in 2021,China’s imports reached 17.37 trillion yuan,an increase of 21.5%.Last year,Shanghai’s China International Import Expo turnover reached 72.62 billion US dollars.

China has made significant progress in infrastructure construction in the past few years,including constructing many subways,bridges,and roads.For example,when I flrst came to China in 2006,there were only four subway lines in Beijing,but now the subway network covers most of the areas in Beijing,and the expansion of the subway network in the capital is still advancing.

I have also experienced profound changes in China’s internet.5G technology has enabled China’s network development to reach the advanced level globally and has driven signiflcant changes in high-speed rail,aviation,and port networks.By December 2021,the number of internet users in China had increased to 1.03 billion,and the internet penetration rate reached 73%,exceeding the global average.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19,China’s highly organized response mechanism and precise prevention and control measures have amazed the world.The Chinese leadership puts people’s health flrst,flghts the pandemic,and makes every effort to prevent the pandemic from spreading in China.China has also taken the initiative to develop COVID-19 vaccines and cooperated with many countries to help them produce vaccines and make vaccines a global public product.

China’s achievements in improving environmental conservation are also commendable.For example,in recent years,the air quality in China has improved significantly.In addition,China attaches great importance to increasing the forest coverage and greening rate,protecting and developing the wetlands,creating nature reserves,and protecting endangered species.Meanwhile,China has not neglected climate issues and environmental protection,striving to build a clean,lowcarbon,safe and efflcient energy system and put forward two goals,Carbon Emission Peak and Carbon Neutrality.These efforts highlight the image of a responsible power and embody the in-depth practice of the concept of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.

The cooperation between Arab countries and China has a long history,which can be traced back to the beginning of the Ancient Silk Road.They have built a bridge of friendship.As time flies,Arab-Chinese exchanges have always been active.

With their unique historical heritage and geographical location,the Arab countries have become an essential part of the“Belt and Road Initiative” by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013.In addition to the League of Arab States,19 Arab countries have signed cooperation documents with China to join the initiative.

Today,China-Arab cooperation is developing rapidly,and China is the largest trading partner of Arab countries.In 2021,the bilateral trade between China and Arab countries was about US $330 billion,an increase of 37% over 2020,while nearly half of China’s oil demand came from Arab countries.In addition,China and Arab countries have achieved fruitful cooperation in new flelds,such as digital economy,5G communication network and aerospace,and traditional flelds,such as trade and energy.

With China’s continuous progress in science,technology,industry,environmental protection,and other fields and Arab countries’ advantages in resources,geographical location,and market,China-Arab cooperation will usher in a broader development space.

China is a great country and an important tributary in the long river of human civilization.I wish great China prosperity,progress,and continued success to stride forward the goal of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.China is becoming a pillar for world peace,the pioneer of development,the bridge of cooperation,and a model of ongoing struggle and self-improvement of human society.
