Step 1.Warming-up
1.Enjoy a song“What do you want to be?”.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:歌詞“I want to be a...”與本課的語(yǔ)言內(nèi)容相匹配,歌曲中的動(dòng)畫(huà)提供了生動(dòng)的故事場(chǎng)景,通過(guò)動(dòng)畫(huà)中幽默、反轉(zhuǎn)的故事,言簡(jiǎn)意深地體現(xiàn)了本課主題“Dreams”。
2.Guessing games.
T:Guess,what do they do?
(1)make us happy,always wear white clothes,cook nice food(cook).
(2)help people get well,work in the hospital,take care of our teeth(dentist).
(3)help people,drive a car,have a gun(policeman).
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)逐步呈現(xiàn)關(guān)鍵詞組信息,讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)職業(yè)類(lèi)名詞,先出示一個(gè)涉及職業(yè)范圍最廣的詞組,最后出示該職業(yè)明顯的特征,學(xué)生在反轉(zhuǎn)式猜謎的過(guò)程中,激活本課的相關(guān)詞匯,體會(huì)到參加游戲的樂(lè)趣。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用插圖直觀、直接的特點(diǎn),更清晰、簡(jiǎn)明地直指故事的人物、時(shí)間、起因等要素,開(kāi)門(mén)見(jiàn)山地進(jìn)入故事。

S:They’re talking about their dreams.(教師順勢(shì)揭示并板書(shū)課題)

(詞根和前綴/后綴用不同顏色表示,通過(guò)色彩的區(qū)別引起學(xué)生的注意,不作語(yǔ)法講解)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:語(yǔ)言是一個(gè)整體,語(yǔ)言能力的發(fā)展和培養(yǎng)是整體的。引入對(duì)話時(shí),教師應(yīng)重視對(duì)話呈現(xiàn)的整體性,通過(guò)觀看課文動(dòng)畫(huà),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在此過(guò)程中整體感知故事,獲取故事大意,理解故事主題“Dreams”。接著配合書(shū)上的練習(xí)獲取主要信息,從“Dreams”到“What do they want to be in the future?”,進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)學(xué)生對(duì)主題意義的理解。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:從“尋夢(mèng)”到“探夢(mèng)”,學(xué)生從文本中找尋男孩們夢(mèng)想的成因,從故事內(nèi)容中能感受到“夢(mèng)想之花根植于愛(ài)好、經(jīng)歷等”。從“What do they want to be in the future?”到“What do they want to do in the future?”“Dreams”的主題意義在閱讀中再一次被深化。
2.Listen and repeat.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:聽(tīng)錄音跟讀模仿故事。跟讀既能引領(lǐng)學(xué)生進(jìn)一步掌握詞匯和句型的發(fā)音,形成正確的語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào),促使其更流暢地表達(dá),也能幫助學(xué)生更深入地體會(huì)人物的思想感情和故事的情節(jié)。
3.Retell.
Whose dream do you like best? Why?
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生通過(guò)交流故事中三個(gè)男孩的夢(mèng)想,使復(fù)述故事這一相對(duì)枯燥的語(yǔ)言活動(dòng)因附著學(xué)生的情感體驗(yàn)而不再乏味。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:高年級(jí)學(xué)生具有一定的自主閱讀能力,讓學(xué)生自讀后半篇故事,進(jìn)行快速反應(yīng)的趣味活動(dòng),發(fā)展學(xué)生的記憶和邏輯推理等能力。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:這些都不是教材中現(xiàn)成的內(nèi)容,但都與單元主題和文本內(nèi)容息息相關(guān)。這種基于主題意義的鏈接和延伸,對(duì)學(xué)生而言,不僅僅是英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言的發(fā)展,更是一種素養(yǎng)的培育。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:將主人公的夢(mèng)想和學(xué)生們的夢(mèng)想實(shí)現(xiàn)鏈接,并通過(guò)創(chuàng)設(shè)問(wèn)題情境“How to make their dreams come true?”引導(dǎo)學(xué)生們說(shuō)出為實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的夢(mèng)想應(yīng)該做出怎樣的努力,讓學(xué)生逐漸懂得:人生,需要仰望天空,但更需要腳踏實(shí)地。這樣的課堂,發(fā)展的不僅是學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言能力和思維品質(zhì),更體現(xiàn)了一種文化品質(zhì)。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)故事,學(xué)生能夠談?wù)撟约旱膲?mèng)想,以“尋夢(mèng)—探夢(mèng)—追夢(mèng)”的話題鏈進(jìn)行連貫而有邏輯的表達(dá),運(yùn)用新學(xué)語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行真實(shí)而有意義的對(duì)話交流。筆者呈現(xiàn)模擬制作的《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》,畫(huà)面中兩位學(xué)生美夢(mèng)成真,分別實(shí)現(xiàn)了作教師和當(dāng)醫(yī)生的理想。這樣的夢(mèng)想不僅秀出學(xué)生當(dāng)下的理想,還秀出他們對(duì)未來(lái)的期盼。這樣學(xué)生本位的調(diào)整,把教材的范式表達(dá)具化為教學(xué)的個(gè)性真實(shí)存在,用予學(xué)生自身息息相關(guān)的人與事,最大限度地調(diào)動(dòng)其參與互動(dòng)的熱情。

附:板書(shū)設(shè)計(jì)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:故事教學(xué)的板書(shū)突出“情境”和“對(duì)話”,幫助學(xué)生把握重點(diǎn),厘清思路(storyline),使其“過(guò)目不忘”,遇到相關(guān)故事內(nèi)容時(shí)能“觸景生情”。
