Msheireb是多哈歷史核心地帶重建的多功能整體規(guī)劃項目，占地面積31公頃。AAM建筑工作室在整體規(guī)劃團(tuán)隊中起著“建筑定調(diào)”的作用，為卡塔爾開發(fā)并實施恰當(dāng)?shù)男率浇ㄖZ言準(zhǔn)則。以現(xiàn)代的方式重新解讀傳統(tǒng)類型學(xué)，為城市的一部分提供蔭涼、對行人友好的空間，并令卡塔爾家庭重歸城市中心。

整體規(guī)劃的開發(fā)涵蓋數(shù)個大型建筑項目，包括構(gòu)成Diwan Amiri Quarter的公共建筑、一期住宅和社區(qū)建筑、National Eid Ground以及該城市首個可持續(xù)冷庫的雕像圍欄。后續(xù)任務(wù)包括設(shè)計項目二期和三期的商業(yè)建筑；以及該地多數(shù)住宅，包括聯(lián)排房屋和公寓。

Msheireb is a 31 hectare mixed-use masterplan for the regeneration of the historic heart of Doha.Allies and Morrison’s role has been the ‘a(chǎn)rchitectural voice’ within the masterplan team,defining and implementing guidelines for an appropriate new architectural language for Qatar.Traditional typologies are reinterpreted in a contemporary way,to create a portion of the city with shaded,pedestrian-friendly spaces and to bring Qatari families back to dwell in the city centre.

The masterplan role has developed to include several major architectural projects,including the public buildings which form the Diwan Amiri Quarter,the first phase of residential and community buildings,the National Eid Ground and a sculptural enclosure for the city’s first sustainable cooling plant.Further commissions included the design of commercial buildings in Phases 2 and 3 of the project;as well as much of the residential offer for the site,including townhouses and apartments.
