Abstract： With the development of society and the progress of the Times， the current life requires more and more talented people， not only to have professional cultural knowledge， but also to have comprehensive cultural literacy and learning ability. This reform and development has promoted the current reform of English teaching in colleges and universities， which requires English teachers to carry out blended teaching for English majors， combining the characteristics of English classes and the interests of students， so that students'self-study ability can be effectively promoted，? so that students can get better progress in English learning. However， there are some problems in English teaching in colleges and universities. The teaching of English is not focused on the cultivation of students'English core quality and comprehensive knowledge learning ability， it influences the students'English Foundation in colleges and universities， which has no effect on the cultivation of students'autonomous learning ability.

As one of the indispensable courses in college English teaching，Basic English has the characteristics of long teaching time and wide teaching area. According to statistics，its class hours have reached 400 hours，credits are four to five times different courses，in general it is English major students must focus on the course. The aim of this course is to impart basic knowledge of grammar and vocabulary，and to promote studentsability of listening，speaking，reading and writing. At the same time，teachers should guide the studentslearning style in the concrete teaching interaction，so that their thinking ability can be effectively improved in the process of continuous training. This will lay a good foundation for further study in the future. In addition，the results of this course will also affect the progress of the follow-up courses，which will have an impact on the whole teaching system of talent training strategy. Therefore，we must constantly enrich the content of teaching，so as to ensure the cultivation of studentsbasic English skills.

The following four basic laws of learning and teaching are particularly important. First，from passive learning to active learning. Second，pay attention to the accumulation of English knowledge. Third，create the corresponding conditions and learning atmosphere for English learning. Fourth，to close to the way to guide students to learn English. Thus，blended teaching is based on students and teaching materials on the basis of the full innovation of English teaching.

Let Students Study on-line，through the off-line test or practice，more conducive to students of English knowledge learning and understanding，enhance studentsimpression of English knowledge，so that students learn English more flexible，in order to achieve the consolidation of students basic knowledge of teaching purposes.

Many students think that English writing is a more troublesome thing，it is different from other sentence patterns and the study of knowledge points，in the process of learning more complex and comprehensive，need to be carefully explored to complete. This has greatly affected studentsinterest in writing，increased the difficulty of learning English knowledge，and is not conducive to the current English teaching. At the same time，when teaching，teachers only pay attention to the study of English teaching materials and make students memorize English knowledge by Rote in class. They do not cultivate studentslearning interest and create a good learning atmosphere，which in turn restrains studentsthinking，has Affected the writing teaching work progress.

The application of blended teaching in the teaching of English basis for English majors in colleges and universities can effectively improve studentsEnglish learning efficiency and ensure the quality of English learning. At the same time，compared with traditional English teaching，blended teaching pays more attention to the cultivation of studentsinquiry ability and comprehensive cultural attainments when teaching，which is based on students，starting from teaching materials，developing and training students，let students in college English teaching to a solid foundation，in order to promote the growth and development of studentsEnglish learning，but also to ensure the smooth passage of students. Therefore，college English teachers should start from the current situation of college English teaching and use blended teaching to create a good atmosphere of English learning and to promote the progress and development of students.
