I was left alone—in my slippers. In those following quiet moments I was lost in thought and proud of my two remarkable daughters—little instaturebut big in heart. Sometimes our children have great lessons to teach us—if we'll only listen.

That lesson came more than ten years ago, and this past weekend as we celebrated Mother's Day,I reflected once again on how much I have learned from my children over the years. These made excellent material for an amateur writer like me!

第一步，根據(jù)已給出的文本判斷文章的立意。

已給出的文本主要記敘的是“作者從她的孩子們身上學(xué)到了不少東西”，由此可推斷出本文的立意應(yīng)是“父母也應(yīng)該向孩子學(xué)習(xí)”。
