形容詞和副詞最高級與比較級轉(zhuǎn)換
比較級和最高級雖然是不同的兩個級別,但在表達形容詞和副詞最高級的意思時,也可以用比較級的形式來表達,最高級和比較級之間也可以相互轉(zhuǎn)換,常見的句式結(jié)構(gòu)如下:
“最高級+of/in短語”與“比較級+than any other+單數(shù)名詞”的轉(zhuǎn)換。如:
China is the largest country in Asia. / China is larger than any other country in Asia.
中國是亞洲最大的國家。
在此種方式的轉(zhuǎn)換中,有的要把相比較的主語或賓語排除出來,是因為相比的主語或賓語不能與自身相比,在此常借助other或else來表示排除之意。
