石遠(yuǎn)金

詞匯是語言的基石，但不少同學(xué)害怕記詞匯，也不知如何下手？感覺記單詞太難了，特別是記住英語單詞的中文意思就更難。下面我以Book 1 Unit 1為例，談?wù)勎沂侨绾沃笇?dǎo)我的學(xué)生記詞匯的。

記單詞最基本的方法是按音節(jié)記，并掌握基本的構(gòu)詞法知識(shí)。在此基礎(chǔ)之上，筆者認(rèn)為，通過語篇（本文借用林潤南老師編寫的短文）來記憶單詞的中文意思是很好的方法。在課堂上采用以下五個(gè)步驟來幫助考生復(fù)習(xí)鞏固一個(gè)單元的單詞和詞組。

第一步，閱讀兩遍。

Hiding behind the loose dusty curtain， a teenager packed up his overcoat into the suitcase. He planned to leave home at dusk though there was thunder and lightning outdoors. He had got to do this because he was tired of his parentsnagging about his English study and did not want to go through it any longer. He couldnt get along well with English and disliked joining in English classes because he thought his teacher ignored him on purpose. As a result，his score in each exam never added up to over 60.

愛上英語

有個(gè)少年躲在積滿灰塵的松散窗簾后把大衣裝入手提箱。盡管外面正打雷閃電，他仍計(jì)劃在黃昏時(shí)離家出走。他不得不這樣做是因?yàn)閰捑肓烁改笇?duì)他英語學(xué)習(xí)的嘮叨，不想再忍受下去了。他的英語學(xué)習(xí)總是無法取得進(jìn)展，而且不喜歡參加英語課的學(xué)習(xí)，因?yàn)樗詾槔蠋熡幸夂鲆曀＝Y(jié)果，他每次考試的分?jǐn)?shù)合計(jì)從未超過60。

His partner was concerned about him very much. She understood exactly what he was suffering from，but entirely disagreed with his idea. In order to calm him down and settle his problem， she talked with him face to face and swapped a series of learning tips with him. The items she set down helped him find the highway to studying English well.

The teenager was grateful and got great power from his friends words. Now，he has recovered from being upset and has fallen in love with English.

他的搭檔很關(guān)心他，也確切地理解他遭受的折磨，但卻完全不同意他的想法。為了使他冷靜下來好好解決問題，她和他面對(duì)面地交談，并交換了一系列的學(xué)習(xí)心得技巧。她寫下來的條款幫助他找到了學(xué)好英語的最佳捷徑。

這個(gè)少年非常感激，并從朋友的話里獲得極大的動(dòng)力?，F(xiàn)在，他已經(jīng)從沮喪中恢復(fù)過來，真正愛上了英語

第二步，回顧中文。

學(xué)生讀了以上短文二遍后，我會(huì)叫學(xué)生在括號(hào)內(nèi)寫出黑體單詞的中文意思。

先將下面幾個(gè)句子翻譯成英語，然后連成一篇小短文。

1. 志愿者李華第一次離開父母來到了梅州。

2. 在安頓下來之后，他發(fā)現(xiàn)這兒和他所了解的完全不一樣。

3. 他在日常生活中經(jīng)歷了許多痛苦，父母非常擔(dān)心他。

4. 他積極地和當(dāng)?shù)厝艘黄馂楹⒆觽兊慕逃聵I(yè)而努力。

5. 他發(fā)現(xiàn)和這兒的孩子相處得十分愉快。

6. 他融入了新的環(huán)境。

That was the first time that Li Hua，a volunteer，had left his parents to go to Meizhou. After he settled down，he found it completely disagreed with what he had known of. He had gone through much trouble in the daily life; as a result，his parents were very concerned about him. Later，he actively joined the local people in educating the children and found it pleasant to get along with the children here. Gradually，he settled in the new environment.

第四步，詞組串記。

首先，請(qǐng)同學(xué)們學(xué)習(xí)以下含本單元主要詞組的短文。

Mr. Shi，with whom we get along very well，is crazy about his work and is very concerned about us Senior Three students. Once I read a novel that has nothing to do with my study in class，which he happened to find. After class he talked to me face to face，and he didnt get tired of telling me how to learn English well in order to make me fall in love with English. he also encouraged me to keep a diary in English to set down what I thought. With the help of him，I have made great progress in English，so I am not afraid of it any longer.

石老師是一個(gè)工作狂，我們跟他相處非常融洽，他對(duì)我們高三學(xué)生非常關(guān)心，我英語不好，曾有一次課堂上看與學(xué)習(xí)無關(guān)的小說，他碰巧發(fā)現(xiàn)了，他找我面對(duì)面地談心，為了讓我喜歡上英語，他不厭其煩地告訴我如何學(xué)好英語，他鼓勵(lì)我用英語寫日記，記下我的想法，在他的幫助下，英語方面我取得了很大的進(jìn)步，因此我不再害怕英語了。

然后，請(qǐng)同學(xué)們?cè)谙旅娴亩涛闹刑钌弦粋€(gè)恰當(dāng)?shù)慕樵~、副詞或冠詞。

通過單句填空來檢測(cè)學(xué)生是否掌握本課的重點(diǎn)詞匯。

總之，筆者認(rèn)為孤立地記單詞，我們是很難記住的，只有結(jié)合單詞的音、形、義，運(yùn)用構(gòu)詞法，同義、反義等多種手段，在句子中、語篇中多操練，記住詞匯也并非難事。
