[1] 互聯(lián)網(wǎng)在中國(guó)改革開放中的重要作用怎么說都不為過。從2000年開始，中國(guó)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)應(yīng)用的普及，到現(xiàn)在快20年的時(shí)間。尤其是在最后的這15年，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)為保持高速發(fā)展起到了決定性的作用。經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展有兩個(gè)東西是至關(guān)重要的：第一就是提高生產(chǎn)效率，提升產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量，生產(chǎn)出更有創(chuàng)意的設(shè)計(jì);第二就是保持渠道暢通，使工廠生產(chǎn)的東西以最快的速度、最低的成本送到消費(fèi)者的手里?；ヂ?lián)網(wǎng)在這兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都為中國(guó)的產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展起到了決定性的作用。

[2] 互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的發(fā)展在設(shè)計(jì)理念和設(shè)計(jì)人才方面極大地縮小了我們與國(guó)際先進(jìn)的國(guó)家的差距。我們可以通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)以更快的速度獲取全球最先進(jìn)的設(shè)計(jì)技術(shù)和理念。更重要的是通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)可以產(chǎn)生更多的效應(yīng)。這就極大地加快了經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的速度。

[3] 在渠道的領(lǐng)域，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的效果更加明顯，比如電商。老百姓通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)更容易表達(dá)自己的意愿，更容易對(duì)我們現(xiàn)有的一些產(chǎn)品提出一些批評(píng)性的意見，而這些也都更好地推動(dòng)企業(yè)的生產(chǎn)，推動(dòng)政府職能的現(xiàn)代化。首先，是城市人和農(nóng)村人在獲取信息和溝通信息上平等，大家都可以通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)實(shí)時(shí)看到中國(guó)的發(fā)展和中國(guó)城市的發(fā)展?；ヂ?lián)網(wǎng)刺激百姓謀求美好生活的意愿，并且將意愿化為前行的強(qiáng)大動(dòng)力。

[1] The importance of the Internet in China’s reform and opening-up can never be overstated. Having been popularized for almost 20 years since 2000， the Internet in China has played a decisive role in its sustainable development， especially in the last 15 years. There are two crucial factors determining economic development： One is to improve productivity and product quality， manufacturing more creatively designed products; the other is to keep the logistics channels open， ensuring the fastest and cheapest delivery of the factory’s products to consumers. In both aspects， the Internet has played a key role in the development of China’s industry.

[2] The development of the Internet has greatly narrowed the gap between us and some internationally advanced countries in terms of design concepts and personnel management. By logging onto the Internet， we are able to access the world’s most advanced design ideas and technologies; more importantly， it can bring about multiple effects， which can greatly accelerate the speed of economic development.

[3] The effects of the Internet become more obvious when it comes to commercial channels， such as in areas of E-commerce. Through the Internet， consumers can convey their views and critical opinions on the products we produce， so as to better improve our industrial production and modernize governmental functions. Most of all， the Internet provides an equal footing for urban and rural people to communicate and obtain information， where the current development of China and its cities can be timely realized. Meanwhile， it also arouses people’s desire for a better life， which turns out to be a powerful driving force to move forward.

[1]中，“怎么說都不為過”似有多種譯法，如“that cannot be over-emphasized/overstated”“you cannot stress enough that…”“you can’t play up enough the importance of…”“l(fā)et me say this as strongly as I can…”等?！吧a(chǎn)出更有創(chuàng)意的設(shè)計(jì)”似有歧義——生產(chǎn)出的應(yīng)該是產(chǎn)品（products），抑或“富有創(chuàng)意的設(shè)計(jì)”（be more creatively designed），此處不妨取其更易接受的含義：manufacturing more creatively designed products。（在某方面）“起到了決定性的作用”可用“play a decisive/key role in…”，而“環(huán)節(jié)”不一定總是link、tache、section、part等，此處aspects即可。

[2]中，“縮小……差距”用“narrow/bridge/close the gap between…”都是可以接受的?！拔覀兛梢酝ㄟ^互聯(lián)網(wǎng)”不宜譯成“We are able to do things through the Internet…”，而擬另起一句“By logging onto the Internet， we are able to…”，以更為通順，更易組織下面的語言。

[3]中的“渠道”（的領(lǐng)域），雖未明確說，但顯然是指商務(wù)流通領(lǐng)域，故可用commercial channels。（推動(dòng)政府職能的）“現(xiàn)代化”原文里是名詞作賓語，譯文則宜調(diào)整詞序、改變?cè)~性，即用其動(dòng)詞形式，為modernize （governmental functions）?！皬?qiáng)大動(dòng)力”似可用powerful motivation、strong impetus / driving force、powerful motor等。
